The Knicks have signed guard Jared Harper to a two-way contract.

Harper is an undersized, speedy point guard from Auburn who got some burn with the Suns’ G League team last season. The Knicks picked him up during the summer and he was with the team for their September mini training camp.

The Knicks extended a qualifying offer to Jared Harper on Thursday, making him a restricted free agent.

This will continue to happen around the league as we approach the free agent frenzy. Harper won't be a fantasy relevant player no matter where he ends up.

First-year guard Jared Harper only managed to play in three games for the Suns (he is now with the Knicks), scoring just two points (1-of-4 FG) in eight total minutes in 2019-20.

Safe to say, Harper was one of the least utilized players to actually make an appearance in the NBA this season. Consequentially, he was outside the top-500 players on a per game basis in both 8/9-cat (507 and 502, respectively). Harper was a popular college guard at Auburn as he helped guide the Tigers to a Final Four appearance under head coach Bruce Pearl. He was waived by the Suns prior to the league stoppage in mid-March, but it didn't become official until after the league transaction freeze was lifted a few weeks ago. The Knicks claimed Harper off the waiver wire and inked him to a two-way contract. As basketball fans have learned, anyone can earn playing time with the Knicks so it's anyone's guess whether or not Harper will be on their roster come the beginning of next season.

He has career averages of 5.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.5 steals, 0.2 blocks, 0.5 three-pointers, 0.9 turnovers on .435 shooting from the field and .757 from the charity stripe in 13.6 mpg.

The Knicks have waived two-way player Kadeem Allen in order to sign Jared Harper to a two-way contract after claiming him off of free agency waivers on Thursday.

Harper played three years in college for Auburn before going undrafted in 2019. He played in three games with the Suns so far and is off the fantasy radar for now.

The Suns have reportedly waived Jared Harper.

Harper was confirmed to be waived by James Jones back in March, but apparently he wasn't officially waived due to the transaction freeze brought on by the league's suspension. The rookie should be able to stay on the NBA radar for a while longer, though Summer League could look very interesting this offseason.

The Suns have waived rookie Jared Harper on Saturday.

Harper was on a two-way deal with the Suns and had been spending his time in the G League. The Suns are stacked at the PG position with the likes of Elie Okobo, Ty Jerome and Jalen Lecque clogging up their rotation behind Ricky Rubio.

Jared Harper logged two minutes on Wednesday to mark his NBA debut.

The rookie is on a two-way deal and shouldn't see much action outside of garbage time this season. Still, he's now in the NBA history books and nobody will ever be able to take that away. Congratulations to Harper.

Jared Harper has agreed to a two-way contract with the Suns, per The Athletic's Gina Mizell.

Harper was a standout with Auburn last season and averaged 10.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in four Summer League tilts with Phoenix. There's minimal fantasy impact here as the Suns already have four point guards on the roster.
