  • Jarell Eddie
    G/F, Chicago Bulls

The Kings recently brought free agent Jarell Eddie in for a workout and are considering signing him, per Michael Scotto of The Athletic.

Eddie played in three games between the Celtics and the Bulls last season, and only five with the Suns the year before that. He might be the only true small forward on the roster if he signs, but we'd be shocked to see Eddie carve out a big role.

The Bulls have signed Jarell Eddie to a 10-day contrct,

Eddie has appeared in 18 games this season for the Bull’s G League team and is averaging 16.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.00 steals in 35.1 minutes per game. The Bulls are in full on tank mode, so it would not be surprising to see Eddie get a few minutes in the fourth quarter. However, he will not get enough run to have significant value and any fantasy formats and could be left on waivers.

The Chicago Bulls have announced a 10-day contract for Jarell Eddie.

Eddie was undrafted in 2014 out of Virginia Tech and has been a in the developmental league for most of his career. He is not expected to get a lot of playing time for the Bulls, but they have stated how they are playing players to develop and see what they have. With Paul Zipser dealing with a sore foot and coach Fred Hoiberg announcing a lineup change after Friday’s game Eddie should get a chance to prove himself. He would have to play well enough to earn a second 10-day contract, or full season contract, before he gains any kind of fantasy value.

The Bulls will be signing Jarell Eddie to a 10-day contract.

Eddie has played in 33 games over his three-year career, with only seven coming in the past two seasons. The Bulls have enough depth on the wings that he might not get serious playing time but you can’t really rule anything out with their rotation right now. It’d be a big upset if Eddie did enough to carve out fantasy value, but players in exceedingly deep leagues should at least remember the name.
