Jaylen Brown finished the fantasy regular season as a top-55/70 player (8/9-cat), blossoming with a new-look Celtics roster.
With all of the changes Boston went through last summer, Brown was empowered to carry a larger share of the load and responded in a big way. He averaged 20.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.3 blocks and 2.1 3-pointers while shooting .490 from the field and .736 from the line — all career-highs besides blocks. Brown took full advantage of an increase in nearly eight minutes per contest and an additional five shots, becoming a vital two-way part both on the court and in the box score. Brown made incremental improvements across the board, and the volume numbers carried his rise in the rankings, but don't sleep on his improved efficiency — particularly at the free throw line, where he had been under 66 percent in each of the previous two seasons. That could be the difference between a top-60 and a top-90 player moving forward, but Brown's new prominent role should secure him at least middle-round value for years to come.

Brad Stevens said that Jaylen Brown (right hamstring strain) is not likely to play against the Bucks on Thursday.
Brown is likely to miss a fifth straight game after missing Tuesday's game as well, and there is no timetable for a return as of yet. Gordon Hayward, Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart will continue to be relied upon more during Brown's absence.

Gordon Hayward (right knee contusion) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's matchup vs. the Jazz.
Hayward will miss his second consecutive game on Friday but his outlook looks slightly better than his teammate, Jaylen Brown (hamstring). Hayward is considered day-to-day while Brown has been ruled out until at least next Thursday. Marcus Smart, Grant Williams and Semi Ojeleye should continue to see additional opportunity on Friday with Hayward and Brown sidelined.

Jayson Tatum (illness) will play in Wednesday’s game vs. the Cavs.
Tatum has been red-hot over the last two weeks and is now producing 2nd/1st round value in 8/9-cat leagues. He should see an even greater workload on Wednesday with Gordon Hayward, Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker sidelined. Lock him in across formats.

Jaylen Brown (right hamstring) has been ruled out for at least one week.
Brown was already ruled out of Wednesday's game earlier in the day but will now miss at least an additional three games. His next opportunity to play is next Thursday against the Bucks. While Brown is sidelined, Jayson Tatum will be leaned on more heavily. Marcus Smart, Grant Williams and Semi Ojeleye could also see their roles increase.

Jaylen Brown (right hamstring) will not play during Wednesday's game.
Brown injured himself on Tuesday against the Nets. He has averaged 20.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest this campaign. With the Celtics quite depleted, look for Marcus Smart to step up against the Cavs.

Jaylen Brown scored 22 points with five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in an 111-110 OT loss to the Rockets on Saturday.
Brown is a top-70 player on the season and a top-55 player since the All-Star break. He has a short-term boost in value with Kemba Walker out and will remain inside the top-75 ROS.

Jaylen Brown put together a strong night on Wednesday, finishing the contest with 20 points (8-16 FG, 3-6 3PT), six rebounds, two assists and one block.
Brown should be able to see his scoring increase with any extended absence of Kemba Walker. Brown is currently a top-65 player with some upside given any additional minutes due to injuries on the team.

Jaylen Brown's 24 points (8-of-19 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs) helped the Celtics cruise to a road win over the Blazers on Tuesday, and he also contributed seven boards, two dimes, a steal and a three in his 34 minutes.
Brown's breakout season continues. He should have no trouble providing top-100 value for the rest of the season with upside for top-50 production if he can get his defensive stats up a bit.

Jaylen Brown totaled 20 points, six rebounds and three steals in a loss on Sunday against the Lakers at Staples Center.
Brown was second on the team to Gordon Hayward in terms of minutes on Sunday but today was Jayson Tatum's day. Brown knocked down three of his nine threes. Brown and Hayward should continue their roles as primary supporters to Tatum as the season winds down.

Jaylen Brown had 25 points and eight rebounds in the Celtics' victory over the Wolves on Friday, going a solid 10-of-17 from the field.
This was a solid game from Brown and he hit two of his five threes. He has really fallen off since starting out the season on a high-note and has subsequently been out of the top-100 over the past two months. The opportunity to sell-high is long gone but his volume for the Celtics should remain the same. He still needs to be owned in all formats and if someone happens to drop him during this low period, scoop him up.
February 13, 2020, 11:23 pmKemba WalkerPG, Boston Celtics
Kemba Walker narrowly missed out on a double-double on Thursday night, finishing with 19 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in 46 minutes as the Celtics outlasted the Clippers.
Walker put up good popcorn numbers but 5-of-17 shooting is just ugly. He should be fine the rest of the way, but might not be a second-round asset like he was drafted to be. The only other guard to play significant minutes behind Walker and Marcus Smart in the absence of Jaylen Brown was Brad Wanamaker, who managed nine points in 26 minutes, so Walker should get as much run as he can handle.

Jaylen Brown (left calf contusion) will not face the Clippers on Thursday.
Brown has had a few minor injuries over the past month which might help explain why he is ranked top-99/153 in 8/9-cat leagues over that span. Brown will get an additional week of rest with the All-Star break so it is likely that he will be ready for their first game back.. Despite the recent struggles, Brown has provided 5th/6th round per-game value in 8/9-cat leagues on the season. Marcus Smart will see additional minutes while all of the regular starters should see a slight uptick in usage with Brown sidelined.

Jaylen Brown (left calf strain) was able to go through morning shootaround but will not make a final call on his availability until Thursday's pregame warmups.
In other words, Brown is a game-time decision. He's officially listed as probable so it seems as though he would only miss the game if he suffers a setback. In that case we would see more of Marcus Smart and Brad Wanamaker as Boston shuffles its wing rotation around, but for now you can plan on Brown being in your lineups.
