Jaylen Morris has signed a deal with Aris Thessaloniki in Greece.

Morris was on a two-way deal with the Bucks last season but only made four appearances. He had agreed to a deal in Italy before the Bucks reached out, and has logged 10 NBA games over two seasons.

Jaylen Morris is opting out of his deal with Fiat Torino and instead will sign a two-way contract with the Bucks.

It was a bit surprising that Morris chose the overseas route so quickly after he put some nice work in for the Hawks last season. Playing time should be a lot harder to come by in Milwaukee, however, so don't expect much.

Jaylen Morris has agreed to a deal with Italian team Fiat Torino.

Morris was one of the many Hawks who made their NBA debuts down the stretch last season as part of Atlanta's roster churn. He didn't look too out of place but was waived last week and will attempt to put up gaudy numbers overseas in hopes of a return. There's an NBA-out clause in Morris' new deal, and odds are we'll hear his name in the rumor mill by the end of the season.

The Hawks have requested waivers on guard Jaylen Morris Thursday.

Morris signed a multi-year contract with the team after playing on back-to-back 10-day deals, but did not show enough during Summer League to keep around. Morris will likely look for a camp invite or an opportunity overseas. Morris appeared in just six games for Atlanta last season.

Jaylen Morris shot 6-for-11 for 17 points with six rebounds, one steal and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes on Tuesday in Summer League play.

Morris continued his strong Summer Play with another useful performance. The 2017 undrafted guard out of D-II Molloy College has carved out a nice role for himself and appeared in six games for the Hawks last season. If he continues to play well, he could flirt with a spot on the roster this season.

The Hawks have signed guard Jaylen Morris for the rest of the season.

The news was broken by Morris’ agency. He’s appeared in six games for the Hawks, averaging 4.7 points in 16.3 minutes per game. It’s possible he earns more playing time as Atlanta shuts guys down but we can cross that bridge when we get there.

Jaylen Morris will be out for two weeks after spraining his left ankle on Sunday.

Morris was playing spot minutes as a reserve guard for the Hawks, and they’ll have a few young players to turn to to pick up the slack. Josh Magette and Andrew White III stand out immediately while Tyler Dorsey makes the most sense of all as the likely replacement starter for Kent Bazemore. Outside of Dorsey, you’d just be throwing darts in deep leagues.

Jaylen Morris left Philips Arena in a walking boot on Sunday.

Morris was injured early in Sunday’s game and will probably be out for a bit. He only played six minutes and finished with four points.

Jaylen Morris went down with a left ankle injury in Sunday’s game and will not return.

He’s undergoing tests but was ruled out rather quickly. While Morris probably won’t do anything that warrants your attention in fantasy leagues, you can’t rule anything out in Atlanta these days.

  • Malcolm Delaney
    SG, Atlanta Hawks

Malcolm Delaney will not play Friday vs. Indiana due to a sprained ankle.

Delaney sprained his ankle in Sunday’s game and was forced to miss Tuesday’s contest as well. With him out again Friday expect to see Isaiah Taylor and Jaylen Morris pick up his minutes. There’s not much to see here for fantasy purposes.

  • Malcolm Delaney
    PG, Atlanta Hawks

Malcolm Delaney, initially a game-time decision, will be available to play on Wednesday night.

While Delaney will dress for the game it’s unclear how much run he’ll get. The Hawks just signed guard Jaylen Morris to a 10-day deal and haven’t been shy about using first-day players this season, while Isaiah Taylor has assembled a pretty strong case to overtake Delaney as the primary backup at point guard. It’s a situation that won’t yield much fantasy value so feel free to look elsewhere.

The Hawks will sign Jaylen Morris of the G-League’s Erie BayHawks to a 10-day contract.

Morris averaged 12.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.6 blocks while shooting .518 in the G-League this season. The Hawks needed someone to fill up an active roster spot after they bought out Ersan Ilyasova but it’s unlikely the he’ll get much playing time. Morris played for D-II Molloy College and is their first alum to make the NBA.
