Jaylen Nowell (illness) will not play on Friday against the Celtics.

Nowell has only appeared in nine games all season, mostly showing up in garbage time. This news shouldn't affect many, if any, fantasy teams.

    SF, Minnesota Timberwolves

Treveon Graham will not face the Bucks on Wednesday as he is dealing with flu-like symptoms.

The Wolves will be without six key players on Wednesday and are very likely to lose against one of the best teams in the NBA. Shabazz Napier, Jarrett Culver, Keita Bates-Diop, Kelan Martin and Jaylen Nowell could all be viewed as interesting low-cost DFS tournament options with the Wolves decimated by injuries.

The Wolves recalled Jaylen Nowell from Iowa of the G League.

The Wolves have several injuries and illnesses at the moment, so the team is in need of depth. Nowell has averaged 3.8 points and 1.0 assists in five NBA games this season. He has shown his range in the G League but isn't worth adding.

The Wolves have recalled Jaylen Nowell, who averaged 19 points with nearly three treys a game for the Iowa Wolves.

The Rookie guard has been impressive in the G-league, and with Andrew Wiggins listed as questionable, this may be an indication that Wiggins will not suit up. Nowell should remain on the wire in all leagues.

The Wolves announced this morning that the team has recalled rookie guard Jaylen Nowell and has transferred two-way player Jordan McLaughlin from the Iowa Wolves, the team’s G League affiliate.

Both players will be with Minnesota for tonight’s game at the Grizzlies. With Shabaaz Napier doubtful to play and Jeff Teague questionable due to an illness, the Wolves might actually have to rely on the rookies. Nowell was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft while McLaughlin signed a two-way contract with the team in the summer.

Keita Bates-Diop, Naz Reid, Jordan McLaughlin and Jaylen Nowell will be inactive for Friday's matchup vs. the Hornets.

No surprises with this group. You do not need to bother keeping any of these players on your fantasy radar.

The Wolves are signing Jaylen Nowell to a four-year deal, with three years of team options and a guaranteed $1.4 million in year one.

A second-round pick out of Washington, Nowell can shoot, and he was the Pac-12 player of the year in 2019. He won't have much fantasy value next season as he'll be buried on the depth chart, but is an intriguing name to watch should minutes become available for him.

Jaylen Nowell (right quad contusion) has been ruled out of Sunday's Summer League game.

It'll be Nowell's second straight absence but the issue is not expected to impact him for long.

Jaylen Nowell (right quad contusion) will miss Friday's Summer League contest.

Nowell can bring the goods as a scorer, so Minnesota's young guns will need someone else to step into the usage that the second-round pick leaves behind. Hopefully he returns before Summer League ends.

The Wolves drafted Washington guard Jaylen Nowell with the No. 43 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Nowell has offensive talent and averaged 16 points, five boards and three assists per game for the Huskies, but falling this far in the draft gives you a pretty good indication of what folks thought about his defense. The Wolves seem to have some moving parts but Nowell needs some help to stay on the radar even in the deepest of Dynasty leagues.
