    SG, Washington Wizards

Jerome Robinson got the starting nod for the already-eliminated Wizards on Tuesday, shooting a poor 4-of-11 from the field to end the night with 15 points, four rebounds, seven assists and two 3-pointers in a team-high 33 minutes.

With the Wizards already out of the picture for the play-in tournament, Robinson was able to give the coaching staff a good long look and show what he's capable of bringing to the table. He's a capable scorer but the seven assists are a good indicator that he can be groomed into becoming a playmaker for the team as well. He's an intriguing dynasty project at this point, but with John Wall returning to action at some point in 2020-21, the outlook for Robinson's future isn't too bright. Ish Smith came off the bench and posted 19 points on 8-of-15 shooting with three boards and five dimes to his name.

Jerome Robinson was solid off the bench on Sunday, netting 19 points (7-of-15 FG) to go with four 3-pointers, two steals and a team-high six assists.

Robinson got some extra PG work with Shabazz Napier out and it's a wrinkle that could up his value over the final two games. He's a streaky shooter (though who isn't, really) but is getting good minutes for the depleted Wizards, meaning he should be rostered in most resumption leagues. Robinson can be very boom-or-bust but right now he looks like one of the few reliable presences in the team's rotation.

Jerome Robinson had a productive outing in Wednesday's loss to the Sixers, chipping in 19 points (5-of-11 FGs and 7-of-9 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, two 3s and two steals in 29 minutes off the bench.

Robinson led all Wizards reserves tonight, both in minutes played and points scored. Actually, it was slim pickings as he was the only bench-player to score in double figures. Unfortunately, Robinson has been a hit-or-miss guy making picking him up a bit of a roll of the dice.

Jerome Robinson put up 12 points (4-for-12 FG), five rebounds and a 3-pointer in Sunday's loss to the Nets.

Robinson surprised with 20 points in Friday's re-opener but cooled off today. He still played 28 minutes, good for fourth-most on the team, so Robinson remains a solid potential pickup for scoring punch if he's available in your resumption leagues.

    SG, Washington Wizards

Jerome Robinson picked up 32 minutes of floor time off the bench for the Wizards on Friday in their first game back and finished with 20 points (7-of-9 FG, 4-of-6 3PT) in a 125-112 loss to the Suns.

This was Robinson's second highest scoring output of the season (21 points on November 16 against the Hawks) and it seems clear that his playing time will be higher during this NBA restart. He had the second-most minutes in the game for the Wizards and should continue his increased role off the bench through the seeding games.

  • Garrison Mathews
    PG, Washington Wizards

Garrison Mathews remains away from the Wizards for personal reasons, and it's unknown whether he will arrive in the bubble at all.

Scott Brooks said that Mathews is "fine" but that a determination had not been made about his status going forward. The rookie from Lipscomb averaged 5.4 points and 1.3 rebounds during limited action in 18 regular season games. Jerome Robinson should continue to play heavily without Bradley Beal and Mathews around.

  • Shabazz Napier
    PG, Washington Wizards

Shabazz Napier started for the Wizards on Saturday, scoring nine points on 3-of-6 shooting with four rebounds and two three-pointers in 20 minutes.

Napier started next to Jerome Robinson (13 points in 24 minutes) in the backcourt. Napier has a strong chance to start for the depleted Wizards once the season resumes, and he could be a strong DFS option as he will need to run the offense.

Jerome Robinson posted a top-400 fantasy season in 2019-20, though a trade to the Wizards seemed to provide a breath of fresh air.

Robinson has failed to live up to expectations after the Clippers made him a surprising lottery pick, but the back half of his sophomore season left some room for optimism. He was a more prominent player for the Wizards, averaging 6.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.5 blocks and 0.9 threes in 20.1 mpg, though he shot just .363 from the field. He was able to squeak out top-150 value over his last handful of games and might be on the deep-league radar entering next year depending on how the Wizards reshape their backcourt.

Jerome Robinson (sore left Achilles) returned to action on Tuesday vs. the Knicks, playing 14 minutes and racking up an assist, a rebound and a block with zero points (0-for-2 FG).

Prior to the injury, Robinson had been an intriguing streaming option in deep leagues. He still sits within the top-150 over the last two weeks even with a rough effort on Tuesday and missing Sunday's game. Keep an eye on him if you're in a deep league and have a roster spot where you're rotating streaming options.

Jerome Robinson (sore left Achilles) will start against the Knicks on Tuesday.

Jerome Robinson has been playing well lately with top-100/115 9/8 cat value over the past week on the back of 9.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.7 treys, 1.7 steals and 0.7 blocks per game. He's worth keeping an eye on if he continues this well-rounded production.

Jerome Robinson (sore left Achilles) is questionable to play on Tuesday.

Robinson sat out on Sunday, allowing Isaac Bonga to draw the start. That will likely continue to happen for as long as Robinson is out, though there's not much for deep-league GMs to work with there. Robinson had strung a couple solid games together and might be worth a pickup in 16-team formats if he can return to minutes in the mid-twenties.

Jerome Robinson (sore left Achilles) will not play on Sunday and Isaac Bonga will start in his place.

A real shame, as Robinson has been getting consistent minutes for Washington and responding with interesting fantasy lines. Deep-league GMs should hope that Robinson returns soon, though all bets are off with the go-nowhere Wizards.

With newfound opportunity as a member of the Washington Wizards, Jerome Robinson is looking to regain confidence in the trait that made him a lottery pick last season: his shooting stroke.

Robinson has found himself playing big minutes in the Wiz's rotation lately thanks to his solid perimeter defense and an injury to Ish Smith (hamstring), but he has acknowledged he has a lot more to do in terms of producing offensively. “Sometimes I make a move and then I pass. I’m like, ‘That was my opportunity,’” Robinson said. “So, just making mental notes of it and staying aggressive and playing through it.” Robinson didn't do much shooting as a member of the Clippers, he was mostly deployed as a situational wing-stopper defensively in short spurts. It's worth keeping in mind, however, that he shot 40% from deep in his last year of college on a healthy 5.7 attempts per-game, so he's certainly capable of lighting it up from deep. Keep him in mind as we approach the silly season stretch of the schedule.

Jerome Robinson (left Achilles soreness) is questionable for Sunday's game.

Robinson has started the last two games for the Wizards, and has seen at least 21 minutes in each of his last five. Last night's game was his best yet, as he chipped in 14 points, six boards, five assists, three steals and two 3-pointers, so hopefully Robinson is only dealing with a minor ailment and can keep this momentum. He's emerging as a solid deep-league option for the stretch run.

Jerome Robinson scored 14 points (4-for-9 shooting), with six rebounds, five assists, two triples and three steals in 36 minutes on Friday.

It was the second start in a row for Robinson, who flashed some of the talent that made him a lottery pick. He is worth a pick up in deep leagues as it seems the Wizards are looking to give him all the minutes he can handle as the season winds down.
