Jodie Meeks

Fantasy News

  • Jodie Meeks
    SG, Washington Wizards

Jodie Meeks finished his season with a team-high 18 points on Wednesday night, hitting five 3-pointers and shooting 6-for-14 overall.

Meeks was brought in as veteran insurance to help lengthen the Washington bench and more or less delivered. He played in 77 games after suiting up for just 39 games over the previous two seasons combined. While the Wizards are probably happy with the occasional 3-pointers and typical safe minutes, fantasy owners weren't at all attracted by his top-350 output.

  • Tomas Satoransky
    PG, Washington Wizards

Tomas Satoransky collected seven points, eight rebounds, four assists, a block and a 3-pointer in only 24 minutes against the Spurs.

Satoransky was limited by foul trouble in the first half and just wasn't needed for much in the second with such a lopsided score. He's going to be an interesting case for fantasy owners with John Wall set to return in the coming days — Wall should be on a minutes limit but it's unlikely that most of Satoransky's low-twenties outings will look this good. Sato should be held if you can afford to be a little bit patient, at least until we see how Wall looks in his first game or two back in action. Ramon Sessions got loose for 12 points, three rebounds, six assists and two triples in 24 minutes but is not a fantasy option.

  • Bradley Beal
    SG, Washington Wizards

Bradley Beal was able to put his feet up in Tuesday's win, scoring just seven points with three rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and a 3-pointer in 28 minutes against the Spurs.

The Wizards were up 14 at the half and 22 after three, so the benches got plenty of activity in this one despite the respectable final score. Beal will continue to feast with John Wall out and the point guard's return won't hurt him enough for fantasy owners to care. Jodie Meeks was able to score 13 points with two triples thanks to the extended garbage time.

  • Mike Scott
    F, Washington Wizards

Mike Scott (illness) is available to play on Friday vs. the Nuggets.

Scott had a nice stretch of value earlier this season without Markieff Morris and Ian Mahinmi, but with those two back, he hasn’t been close to being an option for standard leagues. Jodie Meeks (illness) is also available and also not an option.

Jodie Meeks and Mike Scott are both out for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs.

Both Meeks and Scott play around 16 minutes per contest and aren’t big impact players. In their absence, Ramon Sessions and Kelly Oubre Jr. may see even more time.

Jodie Meeks and Mike Scott are ill and they could miss Wednesday’s tilt against the Spurs.

Looks like something is going around in the Wizards locker room, but hopefully no other players are affected. Both players sat out shootaround and are game-time decisions. Both are solid bench pieces for the Wizards, but sit far outside the top-250 per game thus are of no use outside the deepest leagues.

Jodie Meeks played 12 minutes in Wednesday’s victory but made a major impact by hitting a corner three that sent the game into overtime.

Meeks finished with eight points and two rebounds. He’s a nice veteran depth piece for Washington but isn’t on the fantasy radar in any format. Consider this blurb a nod to his big-time shot tonight.

    SG, Washington Wizards

Jodie Meeks made 7-of-15 from the floor and 6-of-6 from the line and finished Saturday with 23 points, four rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers.

Meeks got some garbage run as the Wizards got blown out in Miami and made the most of it.  This game is most likely an aberration and Meeks is best-left right where he is.

  • Jodie Meeks says he’s past injury woes

In an interview with CSN Washington's Chase Hughes, Jodie Meeks says that he feels 100 percent and is looking forward to a new opportunity with the Wizards. Meeks signed a two-year deal with Washington but…
