  • Joe Young
    PG, Los Angeles Lakers

Joe Young scored 17 points adding four rebounds and two assists in Saturday's loss to the Clippers.

Young played 24 minutes and led the team in scoring. Young did not provide much else, shooting just 7-of-18 from the field, while committing just one turnover. The Lakers are looking to round out their roster and Young will be hard-pressed to make the final cut after news of Rajon Rondo signing.

    G, Indiana Pacers

Joseph Young is finalizing a one-year, $1.3+ million contract to play in China for the Nanjing Tongxi Monkey Kings.

Young completed his third year in the NBA with the Pacers who declined his option earlier this summer. He failed to earn significant playing time managing to see the floor in just 127 games over that period. The former Yates High School star said that he had some offers for two-way contracts but he looks poised to prove himself in the Chinese league and try to return to the NBA after his contract expires in 6 months.

    G, Indiana Pacers

The Pacers have declined their option on guard Joe Young, making him a free agent.

Young just completed his third year in the NBA but has only played in 127 games over that time. He averaged 10.5 mpg in his 53 contests last year and may have to settle for some "prove-it" G-League work in order to firmly plant himself on the NBA radar if the guard market doesn't break correctly for him.

  • Darren Collison
    PG, Indiana Pacers

The Pacers have ruled Darren Collison out of Wednesday’s game.

Collison is nearing a return after undergoing knee surgery but it’s looking like owners shouldn’t be looking to him for help until next week at the earliest. He was turning in a strong season prior to the injury so feel free to snap him up if any owners in your league couldn’t afford to hold onto him through his rehab. Cory Joseph and Joe Young will man the point until Collison comes back while Lance Stephenson should see increased ball-handling duties as well.
