  • Jordan Loyd

  • Malcolm Miller
    SF, Toronto Raptors

Malcolm Miller and Jordan Loyd will sit out Friday's Summer League game.

Miller will be in the mix for rotation minutes this season and has shown well in Vegas, often finding himself as one of the team's top scorers while providing some solid defense across multiple positions. Loyd is on a two-way deal and was one of the top performers in the G-League last season, and he doesn't have much left to prove at this level of competition.

  • Chris Boucher
    PF, Toronto Raptors

Chris Boucher double-doubled with 24 points and 12 rebounds in 34 minutes Monday in Summer Leaugue vs. the Spurs.

Boucher only saw limited minutes with Toronto this past season, but he was named G-League MVP and he's been showing that he's ready when needed. The big man hit two threes and had a blocked shot tonight as well. Jordan Loyd also had a big game with 27 points, seven assists and six steals in 31 minutes.

  • Jordan Loyd
    G, Toronto Raptors

Jordan Loyd set all sorts of career-highs in Saturday's cakewalk, netting eight points, four rebounds, one assist and two threes in 12 minutes of action.

Those are all new personal bests after Loyd put up no stats in his first NBA game, a two-minute stint against the Bucks. Garbage time was kind tonight.

  • Jordan Loyd

Extensive garbage time allowed Jordan Loyd to make his NBA debut on Monday in Milwaukee.

Loyd registered no stats in two minutes. He'll do most of his work with Raptors 905 this year.

Jordan Loyd has received a buyout from his Turkish team.

As we’ve reported previously, Loyd will head to the Raptors on a two-way deal after spending the last two Summer Leagues with Toronto. The Raptors have enough depth at the two guard spot that Loyd won’t see much NBA action.

The Raptors are close to a two-year, two-way contract with Jordan Loyd and are just waiting for a buyout with his Turkish team.

Loyd has spent the last two Summer Leagues with Toronto and the organization has liked what they’ve seen so far. He’s currently under contract with Darussafaka, however, and things will be in a holding pattern until a buyout is negotiated. Darussafaka signed Markel Brown earlier today, however, which could mean that they’ll be more willing to let Lloyd go. He’s already taken a physical. Assuming the two-way deal eventually happens, the Raptors are exceedingly deep on the wings and in the backcourt so there’s no need to remember Loyd’s name for fantasy purposes.

    G, Toronto Raptors

The Raptors will sign Jordan Loyd to a two-way contract assuming he can work out a buyout with his Turkish club.

The buyout window has closed so Loyd’s management will be taking point on those negotiations. He just completed his second Summer League stint with the Raptors, who have let go their pair of two-way players from last season. While Loyd has enough promise to warrant this flier for the team’s strong player development group, he’s unlikely to play much at the NBA level.
