Jusuf Nurkic is officially out vs. the Jazz on Wednesday with a sore right knee.

He's going to sit this one out and in the light of that confirmation, we can look to Meyers Leonard and Zach Collins to share Nurk's minutes, with both likely posting low-end to midrange deep-league value on the night.

Jusuf Nurkic (sore right knee) will be a true game-time decision on Wednesday vs. the Jazz as the big man will test his knee before the game.

Nurk Alert has been in the midst of a breakout run over the past month and change, so it's a shame to see his momentum get slowed by a potential DNP. Still, Nurkic's improvement this season has been one of the keys to the Blazers' success in 2018-19.

Jusuf Nurkic (right knee soreness) has been added to the injury report and is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Jazz.

Nurkic has been absolutely smashing teams of late, so this is unfortunate timing for the Blazers and fantasy owners alike. If Nurk can't go, and Portland might be wise to preserve him for the stretch run, we'd probably see Zach Collins start with Meyers Leonard logging backup minutes. They could also opt to go with smaller lineups, which would open the door for more minutes from Al-Farouq Aminu, Moe Harkless, Jake Layman and Caleb Swanigan. Either way, if Nurkic sits it's going to be good news for Rudy Gobert on the other side of this matchup.

Jusuf Nurkic posted 15 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and three blocks in Saturday's home win.

Nurkic is just dominating lately, and this line is on the quiet side of his recent run. He's well on his way to a career year and fantasy owners are loving the return on his middle-round ADP.

Jusuf Nurkic stayed on fire to start the week with 22 points (8-of-17 shooting) with nine rebounds, seven assists, one steal and six blocks in a challenging matchup vs. the Jazz on Monday.

He just keeps on trucking. Nurk Alert is averaging a crazy 13.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 3.0 blocks over his last five games. While we don't expect the block and assist averages to stay this high for the rest of the season, Nurkic has well-earned his top-25 value in 9-cat over the last two weeks.

Jusuf Nurkic fouled out on Friday vs. the Pelicans but was able to post 15 points (6-of-13 shooting) with 12 rebounds, five dimes and two blocks before leaving the floor for good.

Nurk Alert has been having a splendid 2018-19 season so far, exceeding expectations and is the 35th-best player in both 8 and 9-cat formats on the season. This is looking like a legit career year for him and he's rewarding owners with some big lines.

Jusuf Nurkic triple-doubled while taking only six shots in Wednesday's 129-112 dismantling of the Cavs, posting 10 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and five blocks in 28 minutes of action.

It's Nurk's first career triple-double and the first one compiled by a Blazer since Nic Batum way back in 2014. The big man has been absolutely rolling of late, a weird blip on Monday aside, and looks poised to surpass his lofty ADP. He's posting numbers right on line with his previous career-bests in most categories while also shattering his personal high mark from the free throw line, hitting at .741 despite being a .642 career free throw shooter. Let the good times roll.

Jusuf Nurkic scored six points on 3-of-7 shooting with 11 rebounds, five assists and a block on Monday.

Nurkic came to a crashing halt on Monday as he was held under double-digit scoring for the first time since Christmas day. He was one of the hottest bigs last week but the massive production we were getting from him was bound to drop off. He's still a mid-round play though.

Jusuf Nurkic was productive against the Nuggets on Sunday with 12 points, eight boards, four assists, three steals and a block despite only playing 26 minutes.

Nurk was in foul trouble and it resulted in the low minutes total. He's been on a complete tear and is returning top-12 value over the last two weeks. He's in the top-40 on the season and it looks like his minutes will continue to rise as he continues to put up juicy lines.

Jusuf Nurkic was a stud on the defensive end of the floor for the Blazers on Friday as they trounced the Hornets 127-96, delivering 11 points, 11 boards, eight dimes, one steal and six blocks.

Nurkic is not the first player that comes to mind when you say "elite shot blocker," so this kind of output jumps out at you. This is a ceiling-performance for sure, so if you can sell high now before his averages catch up on his nightly lines.

Jusuf Nurkic led the way with 25 points and 13 rebounds in Saturday's 110-101 win over the Rockets.

Nurk went 11-of-18 from the field and had three steals but split his six free throws and didn't add any defensive stats. That's a bit of a bummer but he is cooking with top-25 value over the last two weeks. It's a sell-high opportunity for a guy who's likely to land in the top-40/50 range.

Jusuf Nurkic had a solid two-way performance on Friday, mustering 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting with eight rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals.

Nurkic has been on fire. He's averaging 21.6 points, 12.0 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game over his last five. This is close to his ceiling so you may want to sell high on him if you can find the right buyer.

Jusuf Nurkic went off in Sacramento on Tuesday with a 5×5 game, scoring 24 points on 5-of-10 shooting (14-of-16 FTs) with 23 rebounds, seven assists, five steals and five blocks.

Willie Cauley-Stein is catching heat in Sacramento right now for how little presence he has had on the inside and this is another example of it. Nurk has been great for fantasy owners this year, returning easy mid-round value with no major slowdowns in sight. The 5×5 game was the second in franchise history.

  • Jusuf Nurkic
    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Jusuf Nurkic finished Saturday's home loss with 21 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, a steal and a block.

Nurkic committed five turnovers but also went 8-of-14 from the field and a respectable 5-of-7 from the line. He was able to stay on the floor for 32 minutes in a matchup that's usually killer for traditional bigs so it's a win overall in a season full of them for Nurk. It'd take a major collapse for Nurk not to end up in at least the middle rounds this year.
