Karl-Anthony Towns scored a season-high 40 points on 16-of-24 shooting with six rebounds and four 3-pointers in 31 minutes on Wednesday.
Towns is back on track with 27 or more points in three of his four games since returning from injury. Towns will be a top-5 player moving forward and it is great to see him back to posting monster fantasy lines again.

The Wolves have been trying to improve their rebounding all season and Karl-Anthony Towns said that determination is needed.
“It’s the fourth quarter. It doesn’t matter. We’ve got to have that toughness,” Towns said. “We’ve got to have that fight. We’ve got to go get that ball. It’s all of us.” The Wolves rank 21st in defensive rebounding percentage at .725, which is where they’ve languished for most of the season. Playing Robert Covington at the power forward position hasn’t helped the team in regards to rebounding, especially when it comes to second chance opportunities. KAT himself is averaging 11.1 rebounds for the season and hopefully this is an area that he improves as the season progresses.

Karl-Anthony Towns played well and put up a game-high 28 points (9-of-19 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs) with eight rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and two triples in 35 minutes in a 100-107 home loss to the Nuggets on Monday.
Towns is still rounding into form a bit, as his stats are down slightly in his first three games back from injury. But it's hard to be too upset with a performance like tonight's. Though his absence was longer than expected, he appears to be on track to return to his spot in the top-3.

Karl-Anthony Towns scored 12 points in Saturday's loss to the Raptors, chipping in six rebounds, six assists, and a block on 4-of-11 shooting.
Following last nights 27 point game on his return from injury, KAT was flat tonight and did not contribute much on either side of the ball. This is nothing to worry about, though, as he is just playing under 30 minutes since his return. Once he finds his legs he should be back to returning first-round value for fantasy owners.

Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) is being listed as available and will play against the Raptors on Saturday in the second night of a back-to-back set.
Towns returned to the lineup on Friday, and it was business as usual for the superstar big man as he put up 27 points, five rebounds, one assist and three triples in 28 minutes of action. It looks like he'll be good to go on back-to-back sets right off the rip, and owners should expect KAT to return to the elite fantasy production we have come accustomed to.

Karl-Anthony Towns made his long-awaited return to the court on Friday night, logging 28 minutes and delivering 27 points (9-of-21 shooting), five rebounds and three 3-pointers.
Towns played less than usual, which shouldn't come as a surprise, but he immediately assumed the lead dog role and led Minnesota in field goals. We'll see if he's good to go for tomorrow's game, as the Wolves could play it cautious and sit KAT on a back-to-back after a month-long absence due to a left knee sprain. Gorgui Dieng had eight points, four rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 20 minutes off the bench but might be worth holding onto for the next couple of games until it's sure that Towns is in the clear.

Karl-Anthony Towns (left knee sprain, illness) "looks good" and is set to return on Friday when the Wolves face the Pacers.
Get KAT back in your lineup as the wait is finally over. Even if he faces a minutes restriction, Towns will still be able to rack up plenty of numbers in limited minutes on the court. Don't be rash and drop Gorgui Dieng immediately, but his value is about to take a significant hit.

Karl Anthony Towns (left knee sprain, illness) is still being listed as questionable and will be a game-time decision for Friday's game versus Pacers.
This is a non-update and we won't dignify it with fresh analysis. You and us both will just have to check back in closer to game time to see if he returns tonight.

Karl-Anthony Towns is once again questionable for Friday's game vs. the Pacers with a sprained left knee.
For the last couple of games, KAT was dealing with an illness but that is not on Thursday's edition of the injury report. KAT appears to only be questionable with a left knee sprain that has now cost him 15 games. Gorgui Dieng and Naz Reid will continue to see an increase in minutes for as long as KAT remains sidelined. If KAT is on your roster, make sure to check the news before tip-off to see if KAT is finally able to return.

Karl-Anthony Towns will once again sit out for Wednesday's matchup vs. the Pacers as he works himself back from an illness and a left knee sprain.
This will mark KAT's 15th consecutive absence. Naz Reid and Gorgui Dieng will continue to see more opportunity at center until KAT is healthy enough for a return. The next opportunity for KAT to play will come on Friday vs. the Pacers.

Karl-Anthony Towns (illness/left knee sprain) is being listed as questionable to play against the Pacers on Wednesday.
Towns caught an illness at an inopportune time as it appeared he would be making his return on Monday. With that said, it shouldn't be long before the All-Star big man is back on the court for fantasy owners. Gorgui Dieng will get another start if KAT is unable to go.

Karl-Anthony Towns will miss Monday's game due to illness, but he is expected to return in the near future once he's no longer under the weather.
Towns' return is imminent, and basically the big takeaway here is that he's essentially cleared to return from his knee injury. KAT has missed the last 13 games and GMs have a tough call this week. All reports indicate that we'll see him return to the court this week, but with tonight's absence he'll play at most three times and is likely to have some minutes restrictions. This is also your very last chance to sell high on Gorgui Dieng.

According to Jon Krawczysnki of The Athletic, Karl-Anthony Towns (left knee sprain) is "nearing a return" after his latest bout with an illness.
This is encouraging news after he was listed as out with an illness, as opposed to the month-long "left knee sprain" designation he'd been carrying. We hope you floated a few offers for the franchise big man while he was sidelined since it's likely he returns at full health after missing so many games. That said, this report isn't a guarantee that his return is imminent, but instead it's an intuitive reading of the tea leaves after Towns had been spotted in pregame warmups and effusively (and athletically) celebrating Jarrett Culver dunks on the sidelines. Rest assured, the end of Towns' first real bout with serious injury is nigh. Gorgui Dieng and Naz Reid would both fade into obscurity when Towns makes his eventual return.

Karl-Anthony Towns (left knee sprain) is being listed as questionable for Monday’s game versus the Thunder.
There has still been little released regards the extent of Town’s injury. Gorgui Dieng will continue to provide standard league value while he is out.

Karl-Anthony Towns (left knee sprain) has been ruled out of Saturday's game versus the Rockets.
Towns will miss his 13th straight game and little has been released on the extent of his injury. Gorgui Dieng will draw another start in his absence.
