According to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic, Karl-Anthony Towns may miss multiple games due to tendinopathy in his right knee.

It bears mentioning that the reporting on this news is very thin, as the information is presented as a rumor coming from anonymous team sources. Still, it's worth monitoring since the issue has popped up sporadically this season for the otherwise-durable Towns. We wouldn't read into it too much and we'd definitely discourage you from entertaining a Towns trade, but it's starting to look a lot like smoke coming from the Wolves. Should Towns miss any additional games, Gorgui Dieng would be a worthwhile, week-long streaming option.

Karl-Anthony Towns will not suit up against the Pelicans on Wednesday due to a knee injury.

Coach Ryan Saunders told the media that Towns would sit out of Wednesday's contest due to a knee injury. This will be the first game Towns has missed in December and the third game he has missed so far this season. Gorgui Dieng started in the previous two games that he missed. Jordan Bell could also see more minutes off the bench.

Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) is being listed as questionable to play against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

If KAT can't go, Gorgui Dieng would likely be in line for a start and makes for a quality streamer and cheap DFS option against the Pelicans frontcourt.

Coach Flip Saunders said that Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) is "banged up," and his status is uncertain for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.

KAT has been a top-3 player in all fantasy formats so far this season, and this is a potential blowup spot for the superstar big man if he can play. Gorgui Dieng would slide into the starting spot and is a worthy streamer if KAT has to sit this one out.

Karl-Anthony Towns got the Rudy Gobert treatment on Wednesday, shooting 6-of-15 from the field and 7-of-9 from the line for 21 points, 11 rebounds, two 3s, three assists and one steal.

It's a testament to how well KAT has been playing this season that a 21 & 11 line is a sub-par performance. Call it a tough matchup and move on. He's a lock to be a top-5 finisher in both 8 and 9-cat formats.

Karl-Anthony Towns posted another big line to the tune of 33 points, 15 boards, two assists, two blocks and two triples, but it wasn't enough as the Wolves lost 109-125 to the Suns on Monday.

KAT continues to churn out insane value in fantasy as the No. 3 player in 9-cat leagues on teh year. He gets it done everywhere and is one of the best offensive players in the league.

Karl-Anthony Towns (right knee tendinopathy) will start on Monday vs. the Suns.

It'll take more than that to make Towns sit. An extremely reliable player, KAT is once again a first half of the first round player this season.

Karl Anthony-Towns (right knee tendinopathy) is considered probable for Monday against the Suns.

Towns was able to play on Sunday and scored 19 points but only made 1-of-7 attempts from behind the arc. It's positive news that he is expected to play the second half of a back-to-back.

Karl Anthony-Towns (right knee tendinopathy) is a go for when the Wolves clash with the Lakers on Sunday.

This won't be an easy game for Towns as he has to deal with Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard and JaVale McGee, but he has overcome those odds before to deliver big lines. Activate KAT with confidence.

Karl-Anthony Towns (right knee tendinopathy) has been listed as probable for Sunday vs. the Lakers.

KAT was able to play through the right knee tendinopathy last game and put up first round numbers. He has a tough matchup with the Lakers who have been slowing down opposing bigs, however he is still a must-start.

Karl-Anthony Towns had a huge game on Friday night, posting 30 points, five rebounds, eight assists, two steals, two blocks and five 3-pointers.

Towns went 11-of-16 from the field and didn't commit a turnover in 37 minutes. Not bad for a guy who was considered a game-time decision due to right knee tendinopathy. KAT is going to finish among fantasy's top-5, not that that's a surprise.

Karl-Anthony Towns (right knee tendinopathy) will take the floor on Friday when the Wolves face the Thunder.

This is why some give KAT the edge in the top fantasy player discussion, he is an injury warrior who basically always takes the floor. You can't win if you don't play, and KAT's owners typically do well for themselves. With Andrew Wiggins out Towns will be getting to eat even more than usual tonight.

Karl-Anthony Towns remains questionable with right knee tendinopathy, but he was on the court going through his usual pregame routine before the Wolves face the Thunder on Friday.

Signs point to KAT being active in this one, and he has never been one to sit out due to minor injuries.

Karl-Anthony Towns (right knee tendinopathy) and Andrew Wiggins (left thumb sprain) will both be re-evaluated before Friday's game vs. OKC.

KAT was listed as probable coming into this one so he's got a good shot of suiting up. However, Wiggins has drawn the questionable tag so his status is much more up in the air for Friday's game. Stay tuned for updates closer to tip-off.
