Kenrich Williams

Fantasy News

  • Kenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans

Kenrich Williams scored nine points while corralling a team-high 12 rebounds to go with four assists, a steal, a block and a 3-pointer on Thursday.

Williams went 4-for-7 from the floor and saw 34 minutes of action on Thursday and is also going to benefit from Anthony Davis (shoulder) missing time. His rebounding numbers are most of his value, but he also has the potential to give you a triple-one like tonight. It's baffling that he didn't get drafted as he has the talent to play in the NBA and is a standard-league player as of now.

  • Kenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans

Kenrich Williams scored 10 points on 4-of-10 shooting (1-of-6 from deep) with 13 rebounds, seven assists and one block over 37 minutes on Saturday against the Grizzlies.

Williams' stat set started off sluggish when he was popping up on the radar but not anymore as he's sitting on a mid-round run over the last seven games. And considering the Pelicans can only get more thin the rest of the way, his already strong playing time seems really safe right now. He's a must-own player and in competitive leagues where top-100 value is hard to find he's a must-add player.

  • Kenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans

Kenrich Williams logged a team-high 37 minutes on Friday vs. the Wolves and delivered in spades with 19 points (6-of-10 shooting) with six rebounds, four triples, two assists and one block.

He was one of the hotter pickups during the Pelicans' plague of injuries. Williams has managed to stay in the rotation – and his minutes tonight are a good sign – thanks to his high energy and ceaseless motor. He's worth an end-of-bench spot in standard leagues right now.

  • Kenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans

Kenrich Williams scored eight points on 3-of-13 shooting with eight rebounds, five assist, two steals, a block and two 3-pointers on Monday against the Pacers.

Williams has shown the ability to eat up rebounds when given playing time, but his game goes far beyond that. He's a decent passer and is willing to shoot the 3-ball which is both good and bad. The good news is that he hit two triples tonight, but the bad news is that he attempted eight shots beyond the arc which hurt his shooting numbers overall. Cheick Diallo (12 points, 14 rebounds, a steal and a block) also turned out a nice line but when the Pelicans get their bigs back both players will lose almost all their value.

  • Kenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans

Kenrich Williams will start over Solomon Hill in Monday's game against the Pacers.

It's well-deserved for Williams, who has taken his opportunity and run with it while the Pelicans have been so shorthanded. He's an intriguing deep-league player for the rest of the season, and it's far from surprising to see Hill get demoted since New Orleans is trying to trade away his oversized contract.

  • Kenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans

Kenrich Williams broke out against the Nuggets on Wednesday with 22 points and eight rebounds on 8-of-14 shooting in a team-high 38 minutes of action.

He is worth a speculative add if you have an extra roster spot while Julius Randle, Nikola Mirotic and Anthony Davis are all sidelined as he should be seeing minutes around 30 until they return. He added five 3-pointers, three assists and two blocks to the box score.

  • Kenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans

SG/SF Kenrick Williams came out of nowhere to score eight points on 4-of-7 shooting with a career-high 16 rebounds and one block in 30 minutes off the bench on Tuesday against the Rockets.

The Rockets play small and the Pelicans are shook up by the AD trade rumors, not to mention most of their good players being out. An AD deal at the deadline, which isn't as likely as a deal over the summer, in addition to multiple rumors about all the big guns, could create a vacuum for players to step into. Burning a roster slot on Williams is extremely optimistic, regardless, but keep a close eye on all of the Pelicans reserves as we go here.

  • Kenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans

Kenrich Williams logged a career-high 18 minutes in Thursday's loss to the Thunder, posting two points, four rebounds and an assist.

Williams also set a career-high in rebounds tonight and took advantage of the Pelicans being so shorthanded up front. There's no fantasy appeal here but deep-league players can at least know that he was ahead of Wesley Johnson and Tim Frazier in the rotation tonight.
