The H2H playoffs are here which means I finally get to break out the Warrior Songs - hat tip to Dan Besbris who posted this first one during last summer’s Career League draft (I was…
April 9, 2019, 11:39 pmKenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans
Kenrich Williams swiped five steals to go with eight points, seven rebounds, six assists and two threes in Tuesday's finale.
Williams had a late-blooming rookie campaign. He was just outside the top-200 in per-game value for the season. However, once AD started sitting, Williams provided pretty consistent late-round value. His best category for the season, like tonight, was steals, where he settled in around 1.6 per game (while also hitting 1.4 threes). Over that relevant stretch though, Williams only averaged about seven points, six rebounds and under three assists despite getting about 30 minutes per game. He's already 24, so don't expect any meteoric rise even on a Pelicans team looking to go young next season.
April 5, 2019, 4:17 pmStanley Johnson - F - New Orleans Pelicans
Stanley Johnson (left ankle contusion) will miss Friday’s game vs. the Suns.
There aren’t many healthy bodies left in New Orleans and with Johnson missing Friday’s game, it’ll be Kenrich Williams, Ian Clark and Dairis Bertans left to compete for usage.

March 29, 2019, 5:11 pmDarius Miller - F - New Orleans Pelicans
Darius Miller will miss 1-2 weeks of action with a Grade 1 left adductor strain.
That leaves Kenrich Williams in the starting lineup as the Pelicans’ top 3-and-D option.

Kenrich Williams (laceration above eye) didn't need stitches and has returned to the court against the Kings on Thursday.
Williams is back after exiting earlier with a laceration. He should be back in his standard role.

Kenrich Williams had a rough go of it on Tuesday against the Bucks, posting five points, two rebounds and a 3-pointer in 24 minutes.
Williams was riding a run of late-middle round value but that was propped up by some big steals totals. Tonight we saw what happens when the bottom falls out, though we'll also give him some leash considering the matchup. Williams is more of a roto play but his starting job is safe and he should still be rostered in 14-team leagues.
March 10, 2019, 8:56 pmKenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans
Kenrich Williams played 30 minutes on Sunday night and put nine points, two rebounds, a steal, a pair of blocks and a 3-pointer.
Williams only went 3-for-11 from the field but continues to bring in the cash counters. His shooting has abandoned him of late but Williams is swiping 2.2 steals per game over his last five, so there's definite appeal since we're in the category-hunting phase of the season.
March 8, 2019, 10:35 pmKenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans
Kenrich Williams flashed some of his patented hustle in Friday's loss to the Raptors as he recorded five steals, nine points, five rebounds, four assists and three triples.
K-Hustle is an interesting player to watch down the stretch. The Pelicans are in rebuild mode and they might want to work on the 23-year-old's development moving forward. He has a diverse stat line but struggles with scoring efficiency and confidence at times.
February 24, 2019, 1:40 amKenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans
Kenrich Williams started and scored 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting with three treys, seven boards, five assists and three steals over 34 minutes in Saturday's win over the Lakers.
Williams has hit just 32.4 percent of his shots over the last four games so his fantasy value has been somewhat muted, but he's more or less a must-own player in 12-team formats. The Pelicans have named him as a guy to get more minutes and the shooting numbers will bounce back shortly.
February 22, 2019, 5:47 pmElfrid Payton - G - New Orleans Pelicans
Elfrid Payton (sprained right ankle) will play on Friday vs. the Pacers but Darius Miller (sprained right ankle) will not.
Payton might be able to improve on his season averages with news that Jrue Holiday’s minutes would be reduced and has some appeal as a low-end point guard. Kenrich Williams will have additional 3-point shots coming his way as well.

February 21, 2019, 7:57 pmFrank Jackson - G - New Orleans Pelicans
The Pelicans plan to give increased minutes to their younger players.
With Danny Ferry also saying that Jrue Holiday's minutes are going to be headed in the other direction, that's good news for Frank Jackson. Kenrich Williams, who is already starting, also benefits, while this could also help out Cheick Diallo depending on how the Pels view Jahlil Okafor. Outside of Williams, there's only deep-league impact here.

February 14, 2019, 10:28 pmKenrich Williams - G/F - New Orleans Pelicans
Kenrich Williams scored nine points while corralling a team-high 12 rebounds to go with four assists, a steal, a block and a 3-pointer on Thursday.
Williams went 4-for-7 from the floor and saw 34 minutes of action on Thursday and is also going to benefit from Anthony Davis (shoulder) missing time. His rebounding numbers are most of his value, but he also has the potential to give you a triple-one like tonight. It's baffling that he didn't get drafted as he has the talent to play in the NBA and is a standard-league player as of now.
