Kyle Kuzma said that his current left ankle sprain is unrelated to the stress reaction that cost him the beginning of the year.

That's good news, and Kuzma is hoping to return to the court in the next few games after missing the last two contests. He shouldn't be considered a 12-team asset at this point, though his name value is keeping him rostered.

Kyle Kuzma (left ankle sprain) will not play on Friday.

Fantasy GMs will need to find someone else to provide top-300 value tonight — seriously, he's a top-260/290 player (8/9-cat) and should not be as widely rostered as he is.

Kyle Kuzma (left ankle sprain) is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Heat.

Kuzma missed Wednesday's contest with this ankle injury and Jared Dudley saw a significant increase in minutes in the game. Avery Bradley, Alex Caruso and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope could also all see a few extra minutes if Kuzma sits out again.

Kyle Kuzma (left ankle sprain) is being listed as probable to play against the Magic on Wednesday.

Kuzma has been playing for some time now, and it doesn't look like that will change for this one. Continue to keep Kuzma in your lineup if you own him.

  • Anthony Davis
    PF-C, Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers continue to be extremely thorough with their injury reporting, as Anthony Davis and Kyle Kuzma are both probable to play on Sunday.

Both players have been active despite probable tags for some time now and there's no reason to expect that to change tonight. Davis is dealing with a sore right shoulder while Kuzma has a mild left ankle sprain.

Kyle Kuzma had trouble finding the basket on Wednesday, but still finished with 13 points, four steals and three blocks on 4-of-11 from the field.

Kuzma might not have had the best night shooting the ball, but owners will happily take the defensive stats. He will need to keep this up to start becoming relevant in standard formats. Right now he is way off the radar.

Kyle Kuzma (ankle, illness) will play in Wednesday's matchup against Utah.

Kuzma had already played through the ankle spain yesterday, and he is currently dealing with a cold. It's fine to play him as you normally would in this one.

  • Anthony Davis
    PF-C, Los Angeles Lakers

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said that he expects both Anthony Davis and Kyle Kuzma to play against the Jazz, stating both are experiencing cold-like symptoms.

Davis had been listed as probable heading into this one with shoulder soreness, but the absence of any talk of that in Vogel's comments seem to suggest he will be fine on that front. This is the first we're hearing of any illnesses for either player so stay tuned for both Davis' and Kuzma's availability as we get closer to tip off.

Kyle Kuzma sat out Saturday's practice with a mild ankle sprain and is questionable to play on Sunday.

Kuzma has been outside the top-200 this season anyway, so he should already be on benches–if not waiver wires–in 12-team leagues. One can only hope that this isn't the same ankle that suffered a stress reaction, as it kept Kuzma on the sidelines to begin the year.

Kyle Kuzma scored 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting (including four threes) with five rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes off the bench on Wednesday against the Pelicans.

Kuzma doesn't have the strongest stat set so having a reduced role is pretty much a death knell to his standard league value. He might be productive enough to stay afloat in 14-16 team leagues, though.
