Larry Nance quietly posted six points, one rebound, one steal and one block in 16 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's win over the Raptors.

Tristan Thompson (six rebounds, two assists) got 14 minutes and it could be more of a 16-21 mpg role for Nance going forward unless the rotation gets relaxed. Still, Nance is a top 75-100 (9/8 cat) player in the last month in a 22.4 mpg sample so there's still value to be had if his stat set can help.

Tristan Thompson (ankle) is available to play on Friday against the Suns.

With Kevin Love (hand) and Larry Nance (hamstring) back, Thompson should be anything more than a deep-league rebound specialist. He’s not worth owning in most leagues.

Larry Nance missed almost the entire second half with right hamstring tightness on Tuesday but claimed to be alright after the game.

Tyronn Lue revealed that Nance has been dealing with this injury for a few days while the team called his exit precautionary. Ante Zizic, literally the only other big on the roster, also had his foot examined by a team trainer after the game. The Cavs visit the Blazers on Thursday and hopefully both big men should be ready to go against Jusuf Nurkic and Portland’s tough frontcourt even though Nance is not known for being a quick healer.

Larry Nance left Tuesday’s game during the second half due to a right hamstring issue that the team is calling precautionary and did not return.

Nance has a long history with injuries and we’ve wondered when the higher workloads might catch up to him.  The Cavs are making easy work of the Suns and that made yanking him an easy call.  Owners should hang tight unless the news worsens and then it’ll be a case-by-case situation for each fantasy squad.  It was also reported by The Athletic that he had his left leg wrapped during shootaround, which is par for the course on the injury front and not necessarily something to worry about.

Larry Nance scored 13 points with 13 rebounds, three assists and four steals over 37 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Nuggets.

It was a nice matchup for Nance since nobody on the Denver side can match his athleticism.  We’ve always had Nance as a low-minute top-100 guy so it’s no surprise when he goes big when he gets more minutes.  The only concern for Cavs fans and owners alike should be his injury history, but Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson will return soon enough and Nance will go back to being a — you guessed it — a top-100 guy.

Larry Nance scored 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting with eight rebounds, two assists, four steals and two blocks in 27 minutes off the bench in Friday’s win over the Grizzlies.

Nance has been one of the league’s more consistent plays when healthy, returning top-100 for long stretches of time during his short career.  It’s possible he’ll get a bump playing with LeBron but regardless he’s a must-own player.  The rest of the crew from the big trade are all low-end guys, though they got some numbers tonight against a bad Memphis squad.  George Hill scored 18 points with five cash counters but just one assist, Jordan Clarkson put up a standard 14 points with two threes, four boards, two assists and one block, and Rodney Hood managed just 10 points, two treys, three boards, two assists and one steal in the win.

Kyle Kuzma (back) to be reevaluated on Thursday

Kyle Kuzma (back spasms) tweaked his back during his pregame routine on Wednesday and will be reevaluated on Thursday. Julius Randle got some decent minutes with Kuzma not available and scored 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Kuzma…
