Lorenzo Brown has signed with KK Crvena Zvezda for next season.

Brown will head to Serbia after ending last season in China after being waived by the Raptors. He was the G-League MVP in 2017-18, so we'll probably see him surface in a training camp at some point down the line.

The Raptors will waive Lorenzo Brown.

It's a tough break for Brown, as the Raptors are trying to trim their tax bill a bit by keeping the roster trimmed. Last season's G-League MVP should be able to land on his feet, though it won't mean anything in fantasy.

Lorenzo Brown put up 10 points, two assists, three steals and a block in 22 minutes during Saturday's blowout win over the Bulls.

Brown got some extra run tonight with the Raptors putting this game to bed in the third quarter. He was the G-League MVP a year ago and clearly has game, but he can be ignored outside all but the deepest of fantasy leagues, even with Kyle Lowry tweaking his ankle tonight.

Lorenzo Brown is finalizing a one-year deal with the Raptors.

Brown was named G-League MVP with Raptors 905 last season but only saw spot duty for the big club. It's a bit of a curious signing as the Raptors have three NBA-caliber point guards already on the roster and Brown might've found a team with more playing time available, but Toronto will use a lot of two-guard lineups and he thrived under the team's development group. Brown remains well off the fantasy radar.

The Raptors are converting the two-way contract of Lorenzo Brown into a standard deal.

Brown was named the G-League's Playoff MVP but Raptors 905 lost the finals to the Austin Spurs tonight. The Raptors will have Brown on their playoff roster over his two-way counterpart, Malcolm Miller. He'll be emergency depth but might play tomorrow if they want to dial back the minutes on their other guards.

With Fred VanVleet (back) out, it was Lorenzo Brown who stepped up off the bench, outplaying usual co-backup Delon Wright.

Brown played 25 minutes compared to Wright's 22 and finished with 11 points, five rebounds, an assist, a steal and a 3-pointer while Wright collected four points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal. The Raptors took advantage of the opportunity to dial back on most of their regulars' minutes tonight, so we wouldn't read into this too much. Brown might not be around to do the same on Wednesday as he may be needed for a decisive final game of the G-League Finals and the Raptors have said they're planning on having everyone play in Miami.

Lorenzo Brown played 19 minutes as a member of Toronto’s closing unit on Tuesday night, finishing with seven points, a steal and a triple.

Brown got the call as the team’s third point guard with Fred VanVleet nursing a wrist injury and stepped up admirably, posting a plus-23 rating in his stint. It’s nice to see him slip in well with the team’s regular players but fantasy owners don’t need to pay attention to this performance.
