Lu Dort made Game 7 history on Wednesday by setting the record for most points scored in an elimination game by a player aged 21 or younger with 30 points on 10-of-21 from the field and 6-of-12 from deep.

Dort had the best night of his career in the most important game of his career. He surprassed both Kobe and Lebron to set this Game 7 scoring record. All the talk leading into this game was focused on Dort’s defensive presence and out of nowhere he goes nuclear on the offensive end. Aside from his scoring Dort had just four rebounds, one assist and a steal but even mentioning his lack of peripherals almost feels insulting in the face his career performance.

Luguentz Dort continues to be a difference-maker for the Thunder on the defensive end of the floor, limiting James Harden while scoring nine points of his own to go with five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 35 minutes on Monday.

After missing Game 1 due to injury, Dort has stepped in and made a definite impact for the Thunder. With the series now level at two games apiece, a spot in round two of the playoffs is there for the taking. Dort's value to the team is typically not reflected on the stat-sheet but has to be appreciated nonetheless.

Luguentz Dort is not known for his offensive ability and Thursday exemplified why as he ended the game with just eight points on 3-of-10 shooting in 26 minutes.

The offense that we did see from Dort needs to continue in order for him to stay on the floor as the Rockets can sag off of him on defense if he isn't even a threat from distance. Although Dort didn’t produce stats worthy of fantasy production, his defense on James Harden was a big help compared with Game 1. Harden was limited to just 21 points on 16 shots but he was still able to create for others with nine assists. Dort and the Thunder will look to get back in the series on Saturday.

Luguentz Dort (knee) has been upgraded to questionable for Thursday's contest against the Rockets.

Dort had been in the starting lineup for OKC prior to spraining his knee last week and was originally ruled out for Thursday's game. His return would be a welcome sight for the Thunder as they could use extra perimeter defenders to slow down James Harden and the small-ball Rockets. Check back for an official ruling on Dort's status closer to tip-off.

Luquentz Dort will once again be sidelined with a sprained right knee as the Thunder face off against the Rockets for Game 2 on Thursday.

The Thunder would like to have Dort available as a primary defender on James Harden but will have to wait until at least Saturday with this update. The Thunder struggled to guard Harden and the rest of the Rockets on Tuesday as Houston had an eFG% of .596 compared with .518 for Oklahoma City.

Luguentz Dort (right knee sprain) will not suit up for the Thunder in Game 1 of their series against the Rockets on Tuesday.

Dort hurt his knee during Wednesday's game against the Celtics and it will cost him yet another game as the Thunder begin their playoff march against the Rockets. They will miss Dort on the defensive end of the floor and may need Andre Roberson to play some additional minutes, guarding James Harden.

Luguentz Dort (knee sprain) is unlikely to play in Game 1 against the Rockets on Tuesday.

Unfortunate news for the Thunder as they were surely counting on Dort to act as James Harden's primary defender. With him out the team may rely more on their three-guard lineup with Dennis Schroder. Andre Roberson and Abdel Nader will also be options to take over Dort's minutes at SF.

Billy Donovan said, "I have uncertainty if he’ll even be available for Game 1" when asked about Luguentz Dort (right knee sprain).

Dort has been starting for the Thunder lately and his absence would open up minutes on the wings. He left Wednesday's game with the injury and may not be ready for the postseason next week. If Dort is unable to play, look for Darius Bazley, Terrance Ferguson, Hamidou Diallo and Andre Roberson to pick up his minutes.

  • Dennis Schroder

The Thunder will be without Dennis Schröder (self-isolating) and Luguentz Dort (right knee sprain) on Friday as they face the Clippers.

Schröder left the bubble for the birth of his child and it remains unclear when he will be able to return to Orlando. The Thunder will face off against the Rockets in the first round and it would be helpful to get their sixth-man back sooner rather than later. Chris Paul (hand) is also out on Friday which leaves plenty of opportunity for the guards that are left on the roster. Dort was getting outplayed by Darius Bazley and may see his role diminish as the Thunder look to give Bazley more opportunity.

Lugentz Dort (knee) had to go to the locker room in Wednesday's game after knocking knees with Jae Crowder.

Dort has been a low-end play so far in the resumption of the NBA. If he's unable to return, expect Andre Roberson to see a slight uptick in minutes.

Luguentz Dort came away with nine points, 10 rebounds, a block and a 3-pointer in Sunday's win over the Wizards.

Dort got busy in his 26 minutes and should be getting steady run while Dennis Schroder is out of the bubble. OKC was forced to go a bit smaller today, which also helped his case, but Dort's been above 30 minutes in every bubble game prior to today. With three double-digit scoring games under his belt in Orlando, Dort should be on rosters in most resumption leagues, even if he's far from a household name. Hamidou Diallo also had a solid game on the wing, scoring 13 points with six boards, a steal and a three in 26 minutes off the bench. Dort remains the superior play given his more stable role.

Luguentz Dort scored 16 points in the Thunder's 121-92 loss to the Grizzlies on Friday, grabbing three rebounds and dishing three assists in 30 minutes of play.

Dort has been a revelation this season for the Thunder, working on a two-way contract until well into the COVID-19 hiatus. He has been very productive on both ends of the floor during the Thunder's time at the NBA's Disney World campus and will continue to hold his spot in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future.
