Matthew Dellavedova

Fantasy News

  • Kevin Porter Jr.
    SG-SF, Cleveland Cavaliers

Kevin Porter Jr. (right ankle sprain) is being listed as questionable to play against the Pelicans on Tuesday.

Porter Jr. returned to action on Monday after a multi-week absence, and the team may exercise caution on the back end of a back-to-back set. If Porter can go, he may slide into the starting SG, with Darius Garland (rest) out and Collin Sexton sliding over to PG. Keep an eye on this situation as we approach tip-off.

  • Darius Garland
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Darius Garland (rest) is being listed as out for Tuesday's matchup with the Pelicans.

With Garland sitting out on the second half of a back-to-back there will be more minutes to go around for Collin Sexton, Dante Exum, Matthew Dellavedova, and Kevin Porter Jr. (questionable). Sexton will likely slide over to PG, while Porter would be a very interesting streamer if he hadn't only returned from a multi-week absence on Monday.

  • Dante Exum
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Dante Exum will not play in Tuesday's game against the Pistons due to illness.

This is a bummer as Exum is coming off a career-high 28 points in Sunday's loss to the Wolves. The good news is that it isn't another injury for the oft-injured guard. The Cavs play the Pistons again on Thursday. Matthew Dellavedova and Brandon Knight will see additional minutes.

  • Darius Garland
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Darius Garland (right ankle sprain) is questionable to play against the Wolves on Saturday.

Garland's play has been inconsistent this season to say the least. He followed up a 21-point effort on Monday with only two points on Friday for example. Even when his shot is falling, he does not provide enough production in other categories to warrant standard league consideration. If he does miss Saturday's game, you can expect Kevin Porter, Matthew Dellavedova and maybe Brandon Knight to divvy up his minutes.

  • Brandon Knight
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Brandon Knight will miss Wednesday's game with a sprained right ankle.

Knight is coming off a nice game on Monday in which he scored 12 points in 12 minutes, but so far his production has been sporadic. Matthew Dellavedova could see a few more minutes in his absence.

  • Matthew Dellavedova
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Matthew Dellavedova (right calf soreness) has been upgraded to available for Thursday's game against the Heat.

Dellavedova is a deep rotation piece for the Cavs and is not currently fantasy relevant at only 14.9 minutes per game.

  • Kevin Porter Jr.
    SG-SF, Cleveland Cavaliers

According to head coach John Beilein, Kevin Porter Jr. (left hip contusion) and Matthew Dellavedova (right calf soreness) are both on track to play on Thursday against the Heat.

Beilein went on to say that they will both be available unless they endure a setback during warmups. Porter Jr. has had flashes so far this season but is best left on the wire in standard leagues. Dellavedova is only averaging 14.9 minutes per game and is not fantasy relevant at this time.

Matthew Dellavedova (right calf soreness) is questionable for Thursday's game.

Delly is outside the top-300 on the year so hopefully you're not sweating this one.

Matthew Dellavedova (personal) is being listed as available to play against the Celtics on Tuesday.

Dellavedova is buried in a deep guard rotation and is not currently on the fantasy radar.

  • Matthew Dellavedova
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Matthew Dellavedova (personal) is out for Friday's matchup against the Pacers.

Dellavedova is not currently on the fantasy radar as he is buried in the guard rotation as head coach John Beilein focuses on developing Darius Garland and Collin Sexton.

  • Collin Sexton
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Collin Sexton scored 18 points (8-for-15 FGs) but added only two 3-pointers, three rebounds and one assist on Monday vs. the Bucks.

It's once again points and threes and little else for Sexton. He's yet to record a steal or a block this season, and he's not alone with it comes to disappointing Cavs guards tonight. Darius Garland had nine points, one rebound, two assists and one trey. Jordan Clarkson had 17 points, four assists and two triples. Matthew Dellavedova had five points, two boards, three dimes and a steal.

  • Matthew Dellavedova
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Matthew Dellavedova (thumb) suffered a thumb sprain and will not return on Tuesday against the Celtics.

Big man Tacko Fall blocked Delly, sending him to the ground. Delly got up and grabbed his hand before coming out of the game and heading to the locker room. The Cavs ruled him out for the rest of the game.

  • Matthew Dellavedova
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Matthew Dellavedova started and scored eight points, along with one rebound, four assists, one steal and two treys in Friday's loss to the Pistons.

Dellavedova fine-tuned his shot mechanics in the offseason to speed up his 3-point shot and hopefully increase his efficiency. He shot a career-low 33.8 percent from three last season. With the Cavs' crowded backcourt of Collin Sexton, Darius Garland, Brandon Knight, Jordan Clarkson and Kevin Porter Jr., Dellavedova is only for deep leagues.

  • Patty Mills
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Patty Mills was the star for Australia, scoring 34 points and hitting four triples against Spain, but Australia fell in double overtime 95-88.

Mills did as much as he could but he just didn't get enough help from his supporting cast. Joe Ingles couldn't find the basket and only had four points (to go along with 10 rebounds and seven assists). With that off night of shooting from Ingles, the Aussies needed someone like Matthew Dellavedova (six points) or Aron Baynes (six points) to step up.
