Michael Kidd-Gilchrist played one minute in the Hornets' season finale vs. the Magic on Wednesday.

Kidd-Gilchrist had yet another bad season and at this point it really doesn't seem like he's ever going to come around. He's still just 25-years old but he played a career-low 18.7 minutes this season and started in a career-low three games. He really doesn't contribute much for fantasy owners in any category and it looks like the Hornets are ready to give up on him as well. He was outside of the top-225 8/9-cat leagues and shouldn't be on anyone's draft radar come next season.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (personal) is available to play in Wednesday's season finale against the Magic.

This news comes from head coach James Borrego and is a welcome sign for a team that is desperate to make the playoffs. The Hornets have a better shot at winning tonight as the Magic will be without all-star Nikola Vucevic. Kidd-Gilchrist doesn't have a great fantasy set so look elsewhere for value on a large slate.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (personal) will not be available for Tuesday's game against the Cavs.

Kidd-Gilchrist will miss his second straight game and we hope all is well with him. Charlotte moved Miles Bridges to power forward on Sunday as Nic Batum went back into the starting five, and that figures to be the same configuration tomorrow. Hopefully it won't matter all that much against the woeful Cavs.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (personal) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pistons.

He has started the last two straight games, so the Hornets will have to move guys around again in the starting lineup for their pivotal clash with Detroit. With Marvin Williams (right foot strain) already ruled out for this one we could be seeing a ton of Frank Kaminsky.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 10 points in his second straight start, adding two 3s, three assists, two rebounds, a steal and a block in 25 minutes in Friday’s win over the Raptors.

MKG has top-170 value in 9-cat over his last four game but is hard to trust considering his fantasy-unfriendly game and past returns. Malik Monk chipped in 10 points, four rebounds and a block in the win.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist plays 20 minutes in a start for Marvin Williams on Wednesday and scored five points with five rebounds on 2-of-7 shooting.

MKG has had plenty of opportunities early in his career to show that he is a starter level player, but he has never exceeded expectations. He can be left on the wire.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (concussion) is officially available to face the Spurs on Tuesday.

Kidd-Gilchrist missed the last three games but was listed as probable for this one, so this shouldn't come as a major shock. His return will affect the forward rotation but we're not worried about Miles Bridges losing too many minutes. Aside from Bridges, most fantasy owners can ignore that chunk of the Charlotte roster, so MKG's return has minimal impact.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has officially cleared the NBA Concussion Protocol and is expected to play against the Spurs on Tuesday.

MKG will return after being sidelined for the last three games. He is still expected to play behind Miles Bridges and Frank Kaminsky so he isn’t a reliable fantasy contributor at this point.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (concussion) is probable to play on Tuesday.

MKG has missed the last three games while he was in the concussion protocol but is likely to return tomorrow. He'll need to battle for playing time with Miles Bridges and Frank Kaminsky at the four spot. No need to look his way for fantasy.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (concussion) has been ruled out of Sunday's matchup against the Raptors.

MKG didn't play in Thursday's game vs. the Wolves or Saturday's game vs. the Celtics so this shouldn't come as a surprise. Even when he was healthy he wasn't worth owning and with him missing time it should allow the Hornets to give both Miles Bridges and Dwayne Bacon some more minutes.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (concussion protocol) will miss Thursday's game vs. The Wolves.

Kidd-Gilchrist hasn't been getting much run lately, but his absence will open up a few additional minutes for Miles Bridges and Dwayne Bacon, who are worth a look as streamers.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist left Tuesday's game to be evaluated for a concussion in the third quarter and did not return.

Kidd-Gilchrist's night wrapped with six points, six rebounds and a 3-pointer in nine minutes. Dwayne Bacon saw more run than usual off the bench but that might've had more to do with Kemba Walker's foul trouble than MKG's absence. Miles Bridges will need to do more heavy lifting if Kidd-Gilchrist misses time.

Cody Zeller (left knee strain) will not play on Friday vs. the Wizards while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (left knee soreness) is available.

Frank Kaminsky remains the prime beneficiary although Willy Hernangomez, who started the last game Zeller missed, could be a nice play in DFS.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (left knee strain) is probable for Friday's game against the Wizards.

It looks like MKG will look to resume his role behind Marvin Williams off the bench. MKG can be ignored in fantasy.
