  • Al Horford
    PF, Philadelphia Sixers

Al Horford (left knee soreness) is questionable for Thursday's game.

With Horford and Mike Scott questionable, Kyle O'Quinn may see more minutes than usual against the Hawks. Owners of either player will want to check back for updates on game day.

  • Mike Scott
    PF, Philadelphia Sixers

Mike Scott put up seven points in 26 minutes in his first start filling in for Joel Embiid on Thursday night.

It was a quiet one for Scott, who is going to theoretically get some run as a starter. He may be a cheap daily play but the chances of him being a standard-league value are low. The same goes for Norvel Pelle, who got the nod over Kyle O'Quinn in this game against the Celtics but only played 13 minutes, with six points, four rebounds and two blocks.

  • Joel Embiid
    C, Philadelphia Sixers

Joel Embiid will have surgery on Friday to address a torn ligament in his left hand and will be re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks.

This is unfortunate news for the All-Star and it also illustrates his toughness for being able to play through the injury on Tuesday. Al Horford, Kyle O'Quinn and Mike Scott could all see their values increase for as long as Embiid remains out.

  • Joel Embiid
    C, Philadelphia Sixers

Joel Embiid (illness) will be a game-time decision on Monday.

Embiid will go through warmups before his final status is decided. He's averaging 24.5 points and 14.0 rebounds over his last ten games. Mike Scott should see more playing time if Embiid is held out.

  • Joel Embiid
    C, Philadelphia Sixers

Joel Embiid will take the floor on Wednesday against the Heat after missing a game with an illness.

As expected, Embiid will return after missing the Sixers' last game due to an illness. Mike Scott will head back to the bench unit and Embiid should be deployed as usual. He has proven to be a second-round talent so far this season.

  • Mike Scott
    PF, Philadelphia Sixers

Mike Scott started for Joel Embiid (illness) on Sunday and put up eight points in 21 minutes of action.

Scott had a better spot start for Al Horford when the Sixers played the Celtics, but he had a solid game on Sunday as well. He shot 3-of-5 from the field and knocked down two triples. He can be used for DFS when he starts for Embiid or Horford, but he is not worth owning in most formats.

  • Mike Scott
    PF, Philadelphia Sixers

Mike Scott will replace Joel Embiid (illness) in the starting lineup for Sunday's matchup against the Nets.

Al Horford will slide down to the center spot, while Scott will play his natural PF position tonight. Scott has a good matchup, but his usage is too low to consider for DFS.

  • Al Horford
    PF, Philadelphia Sixers

Al Horford (knee soreness, hamstring tightness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Brooklyn Nets.

It would be Horford's third straight missed game if he is unable to suit up. Mike Scott should continue to start in is absence while Matisse Thybulle could also see more minutes in smaller lineups.

  • Mike Scott
    PF, Philadelphia Sixers

Mike Scott started again for the Sixers for an injured Al Horford (left knee soreness/left hamstring tightness) and produced five points, nine rebounds, one 3-pointer and one steal.

Scott continues to be the primary beneficiary of Horford's absence and is worth a short-term hold in 18-team leagues or deeper.

  • Al Horford
    PF, Philadelphia Sixers

Al Horford (left knee soreness/left hamstring tightness) will not play vs. the Pelicans on Friday.

Horford will miss his second straight game and this is what owners should've expected when they drafted him. He's going to take some days off and get banged up but this doesn't seem like too bad of an injury. Expect Mike Scott to benefit the most from Horford's absence.

  • Mike Scott
    PF, Philadelphia Sixers

Mike Scott scored 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting while adding four rebounds and hitting five 3-pointers on Thursday.

Scott got the starting gig on Thursday due to Al Horford sitting due to a left knee and hamstring strain. It's unlikely that this injury lingers much longer, but Scott is a 3-point streamer if Horford sits again.

  • Mike Scott
    PF, Philadelphia Sixers

Mike Scott will draw the start on Thursday in place of the resting Al Horford.

Given the light slate, Scott will be an interesting DFS bargain. He's not attractive in season-long formats at the moment.

  • Al Horford
    PF, Philadelphia Sixers

Al Horford (left knee/left hamstring) will not play in Thursday's game vs. the Celtics.

Horford will have to watch the Sixers play his former team from the bench on Thursday. Mike Scott is the likely candidate to see an increased role with Horford out and makes for an intriguing low-cost DFS play.

  • Al Horford
    PF, Philadelphia Sixers

Al Horford (left knee/left hamstring) is a true game-time decision heading into Thursday's matchup vs. the Celtics.

A decision regarding Horford's availability will come after he goes through warmups. The good news is that this will be the first game of the night, allowing those who play DFS an opportunity to pivot if Horford is ultimately ruled out. If Al doesn't play against his former team, expect Mike Scott to see more minutes.

Mike Scott started on Saturday and scored 21 points on 9-of-12 shooting to go with six rebounds and three 3-pointers in 24 minutes.

Scott started for Joel Embiid (right hip contusion) and caught fire against the Cavs. Scott can be a streamer for points and threes when the Sixers are injured. Feel free to use Scott on Sunday if Embiid is still out.
