Mike Scott (back tightness) is questionable for Wednesday's season finale against the Bulls.

Scott sat out on Tuesday but might be pressed into action with Philly sitting just about all of their regulars. He'd be in line for plenty of usage and would be a worthwhile stream if he ended up playing, so check back later for another update.

The Sixers have ruled Mike Scott (lower back tightness) out for Tuesday's game vs. the Heat.

Greg Monroe, Amir Johnson, and Jonah Bolden if he can play, will likely see the most bump in minutes with Scott and Joel Embiid out. While no one stands out against a good Heat frontcourt, Bolden's ability to contribute on the defensive end and Monroe's proven capability of producing if given the minutes make them worth a look as cheap streaming options.

  • Joel Embiid
    F/C, Philadelphia Sixers

Joel Embiid (sore left knee) and Jimmy Butler (back tightness) are questionable to play on Saturday against the Bulls.

With the Sixers trying to preserve their banged up stars for the postseason, we’d call both of them closer to doubtful to play against the hapless Bulls. Mike Scott would likely draw the start if Butler sits the game out while Jonah Bolden would start if Embiid sits and is the preferred option for a punt play.

Mike Scott scored 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting while adding three rebounds, an assist and six 3-pointers on Thursday against the Bucks.

Scott went a blistering 6-for-8 from deep and it seemed like he couldn't miss out there. The problem tonight was that he was a liability on defense, but anyone would be when they're tasked with guarding Giannis Antetokounmpo. He had five fouls tonight and scored only 10 points total in his last two combined so we can treat tonight like a fluke.

Mike Scott (lower back tightness) hit 4-of-7 from the field and all three from deep for 11 points on Thursday night.

Scott left Monday's game with the injury but ended up missing no time. He logged 28 minutes off the bench and will remain a deep-league option for out-of-position threes.

Mike Scott (lower back tightness) will be available to take the court Thursday against the Nets after being listed as questionable.

Scott left Monday's game against the Magic early with the back injury but will be available to play on Thursday. Scott has no fantasy value except for deep leagues.

Although Mike Scott (lower back tightness) is not listed as out, his status is uncertain for Thursday's contest against the Nets.

Scott had to leave Monday's game against the Magic with the injury, and he may not be ready to return by Thursday. We will monitor the situation and pass along the information as we get it. Scott has averaged 22.3 mpg, so there will be some extra minutes to go around off the bench if he is unable to suit up.

  • Ben Simmons
    G/F, Philadelphia Sixers

Ben Simmons (upper respiratory infection) will play in Friday’s matchup vs. the Kings.

Simmons was previously called probable so this is confirmation. Make sure he’s in your lineups. Mike Scott (illness) will also be available to play.

Mike Scott (upper respiratory infection) is being listed as probable for Friday's game.

Scott couldn't practice earlier today but he should be ready to face the Kings tomorrow. If not, it'll leave Boban Marjanovic and Jonah Bolden at backup center with Jonathon Simmons and James Ennis helping pick up Scott's minutes at the four.

Mike Scott (upper respiratory infection) did not practice on Thursday.

If Scott is unable to go for Friday's game Johnah Bolden, Amir Johnson and Johnathon Simmons would absorb the majority of Scott's minutes.

Mike Scott had a great performance in Saturday's close loss to the Warriors, coming off the bench for 22 points, four rebounds, a steal and six 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

The Sixers were missing Joel Embiid, Boban Marjanovic and Amir Johnson tonight so Scott got more run as a small-ball five, much like he did on Thursday. He made the most of it tonight and even went a solid 7-of-15 from the floor to boot. Philly is starved for spacing, especially without Embiid's low-block dominance to fall back on, so The Threegional Manager should continue to play a big role in the team's rotation. There's 3-point specialist appeal here.

  • Joel Embiid
    F/C, Philadelphia Sixers

Joel Embiid (left knee tendonitis) will not play on Saturday vs. the Warriors.

This will make the fifth straight game Embiid has missed due to the knee tendonitis. We haven’t heard a specific return date for Embiid but there’s a chance he returns to action next week. Jonah Bolden, Amir Johnson and Mike Scott will pick up the center minutes but none are a strong play even for DFS.

Mike Scott scored nine points on 3-of-9 shooting to go with three rebounds, an assist, two blocks and three 3-pointers on Thursday.

Coach Brown said he'd use Scott in small-ball lineups as a center and he stayed true to his word. Scott drained a huge corner trey late in the fourth quarter to help lift the Sixers past a resilient Thunder team. He's a 3-point streamer in the fantasy realm.
