Nando De Colo

  • Evan Fournier
    SF, Orlando Magic

Evan Fournier scored a team-high 24 points in Saturday's 82-79 win over Lithuania, shooting 10-of-22 from the field with two threes, three assists and a steal.

Fournier has taken the reins for this French team and will need to keep his foot on the gas with Le Bleu punching their ticket to the next round today. After a disappointing season with the Magic last year, perhaps this strong run can get Fournier rolling right when the NBA tips off. Nando De Colo added 21 points in the victory.

  • Rudy Gobert
    C, Utah Jazz

Rudy Gobert scored 13 points and added eight rebounds on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting from the field in Thursday's 90-56 beatdown of the Dominican Republic.

Gobert and France again made quick work of their inferior opponents tonight. Evan Fournier pitched in with 10 points and five assists, while Nando De Colo led the team with 15 points. Lithuania is up next on Saturday.

Nando De Colo has agreed to a deal with Fenerbahce, per Nikos Varlas of EuroHoops.net.

De Colo is a restricted free agent for the Raptors but has spent the last five seasons playing for CSKA Moscow, where he's emerged as one of the best guards that isn't in the NBA pipeline. He was exploring NBA opportunities this summer but depending on the length of his deal with the Turkish powerhouse, the 32-year-old De Colo may be passing up his final chance at a comeback.

The Raptors have extended a qualifying offer to Nando De Colo, making him a restricted free agent.

De Colo has spent the last five seasons out of the NBA but has been fantastic for CSKA Moscow, earning a reputation as one of the strongest players currently not in the Association. The Raptors have been doing the proper paperwork since he left and will now have the right to match any other offers that come his way as he prepares for a comeback. It’s entirely possible that they keep him around as a third point guard if the price is right.

Nando De Colo has asked his agents to explore NBA opportunities after he's spent the last five seasons CSKA Moscow.

De Colo has been considered one of the best guards not in the NBA in that stretch, making the All-EuroLeague First-Team three times and landing on the Second-Team twice. As for his previous NBA experience, De Colo is best remembered for his run with the Spurs, but the 32-year-old is a restricted free agent whose rights are owned by the Raptors. If they choose to extend him a qualifying offer, as they have in each of the last five seasons, they would be able to match any offers that other teams make.

Nando De Colo may leave CSKA Moscow after the season to make a return to the NBA.

De Colo would be a free agent on July 1st, but there's no word about interest from teams. He last played in the 2013-14 season with the Spurs and Raptors.

The Raptors will retain the restricted free agent rights of guard Nando De Colo after tendering him a qualifying offer.

De Colo hasn't been in the NBA since 2013-14 but this move won't affect Toronto's cap at all and will give them control of his rights if he does decide to return to the NBA. He averaged 16.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals and shot 49.2 percent from deep last season with CSKA Moscow. As one of the top guards playing outside of the NBA, it's possible that the 31-year-old tries to make a comeback eventually.
