Nemanja Bjelica

Fantasy News

  • Richaun Holmes
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Richaun Holmes (right shoulder) has been cleared for full contact but will not play in Thursday's game against the Sixers.

Holmes has been working his way back from a sprained shoulder that has kept him out since early January. After Thursday's game, the Kings have a back-to-back that starts on Saturday. Continue to monitor reports but it appears likely that Holmes will return in the near future barring a setback. His eventual return will affect the fantasy values of Harry Giles, Nemanja Bjelica and Alex Len.

  • Nemanja Bjelica
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Nemanja Bjelica was good for 13 points (5-of-15 FG), 11 rebounds, a steal and two 3-pointers on Friday night.

That's two solid games after a dud against the woeful Warriors. Although Bjelica's defense remains abhorrent, and will likely cost the Kings in key games as they try to revitalize their playoff hopes, he's locked into a big role and has posted top-75 value on the year.

  • Nemanja Bjelica
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Nemanja Bjelica scored 18 points with nine boards, two assists and four triples on Thursday.

Bjelica bounced back after his poor outing last game, where he failed to hit a single shot from the floor. He's going to be a steady contributor the rest of the way as the Kings still have no definite timetable for Richaun Holmes (shoulder) and Marvin Bagley (foot).

  • Harry Giles III
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Harry Giles nearly double-doubled again, this time with 13 points (5-of-9 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, four assists and a steal in 24 minutes in a win over the Warriors on Tuesday.

Giles has put together two solid games in a row now. It's hard to get too excited about his prospects this season, though. Giles will likely lose his starting role and meaningful minutes once the Kings' frontcourt gets healthier or even as Alex Len gets more comfortable in Sacramento. Nemanja Bjelica struggled in this one, providing just one point (0-of-5 FGs), three rebounds and five assists in 27 minutes. He should bounce back on Thursday against the Thunder.

  • Alex Len
    C, Sacramento Kings

Alex Len (right hip flexor strain) will not play on Wednesday.

Harry Giles and Nemanja Bjelica will fill in for now. Len has averaged 8.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season.

  • Nemanja Bjelica
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Nemanja Bjelica scored 16 points on 6-of-14 shooting while adding eight boards, two dimes, a steal, a block and two triples on Monday.

Bjelica's long-term value this year is a lot better now that Marvin Bagley (foot) is unsure whether or not he'll play again this year. If you have Bjelica, hold onto him dearly as the Kings should continue to give him enough run for him to get your money's worth.

  • Richaun Holmes
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Richaun Holmes (right shoulder strain) will not play on Monday or Wednesday.

He'll be unavailable through the All-Star break according to Luke Walton. Nemanja Bjelica will be busy without Holmes, Alex Len or Jabari Parker cleared to play on Monday.

  • Jabari Parker
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Jabari Parker (right shoulder strain) will not face the Bucks on Monday.

Parker has missed roughly two weeks with the injury. Meanwhile, Nemanja Bjelica has been thriving in the Bucks' frontcourt of late.

  • Richaun Holmes
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Richaun Holmes (right shoulder strain) is being listed as out for Monday's game versus the Bucks.

Holmes was appearing to be closer to returning, but as the All-Star week approaches it seem increasingly more likely that he will sit out until then. Nemanja Bjelica will continue to handle a heavy workload while Holmes, Jabari Parker and Alex Len are out.

  • Nemanja Bjelica
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Nemanja Bjelica posted a well-rounded line on Saturday with 15 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and four 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

The only thing Bjelica failed to do was get to the free throw line and he's rolling right now as a top-40 player over the past month. Bjelica is a top-70 player on the season, but he has had an extraordinary stretch of good fortune with Richaun Holmes and Marvin Bagley missing games throughout the season. Holmes could return next game and Bagley will be reevaluated in two weeks. Expect Bjelica to take a hit when Holmes returns, and expect him to fall off the map when Bagley returns. Try to sell-high on him while you still can.

  • Richaun Holmes
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Richaun Holmes (right shoulder strain) has been ruled out of Sunday's game versus the Spurs.

The Kings are expected to be without Holmes, Marvin Bagley and the their newly acquired bigs as well. Nemanja Bjelica and Harry Giles will be forced to do most of the heavy lifting in the frontcourt. Holmes is getting closer and closer to returning.

  • Nemanja Bjelica
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Nemanja Bjelica notched 15 points (5-for-7 shooting), eight assists, six rebounds and five triples across 37 minutes on Friday.

The eight assists tied with De'Aaron Fox for the team lead. Bjelica offers a unique skillset from a big man so he tends to have a role in this Kings rotation consistently. He looks like a better option than Harry Giles who had 10 points, five rebounds and a steal in 14 minutes.

  • Nemanja Bjelica
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Nemanja Bjelica scored 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting to go with three rebounds, two assists, a steal, a block and two triples.

Bjelica is making the most out of life without Marvin Bagley and Richaun Holmes and the Kings are in several trade rumors. Whatever happens, Bjelica somehow finds a way to get the opportunity to put up solid value so owners should continue to ride out this hot streak.

  • Nemanja Bjelica
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Nemanja Bjelica scored nine points on 3-of-9 shooting with eight boards, an assist and two triples in 29 minutes of action on Thursday.

Bjelica provided a low end line tonight, but it was mainly due to the fact that the Kings got contributions from almost anyone who stepped on the floor tonight. Dewayne Dedmon (31 minutes, 11 points, 11 rebounds, one assist, four steals, three blocks and a 3-pointer) had a solid night alongside Bjelica as well.

  • Harry Giles III
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Harry Giles came off the bench for 17 productive minutes, finishing the night with 10 points (5-7 FG), six rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks on Wednesday.

With no Richaun Holmes nor Marvin Bagley, Giles was able to see some time on the court. Granted it was a blowout, so the minutes were all over, he played much better than Nemanja Bjeclica who started. Bjeclica played 24 scoreless minutes and only had five assists to his name.
