Nene is uncertain to play in Friday's game with the Nuggets because he's playing on Saturday against the Jazz.

The Rockets might not want their veteran playing in both legs of the back-to-back so Nene could be sitting tomorrow night. His absence won't affect fantasy leagues outside of managers in extremely deep formats that might want to see some more minutes headed to Isaiah Hartenstein behind Kenneth Faried.

The Rockets will be starting Nene at center on Monday vs. the Sixers.

This is a matchup-based decision. They're counting on his 36-year-old body to hold up for at least a few minutes here and there to annoy a young and athletic Joel Embiid. He won't likely see much time, especially with Kenneth Faried available to spare him in this game.

Nene scored two points with three rebounds in Monday's game against the Grizzlies.

Nene started this game, but only logged 14 minutes as the 36-year old's body can only handle so many minutes. Coach D'Antoni threw out Isaiah Hartenstein (zero points, four rebounds and one assist) and Marquese Chriss (zero points and two rebounds) but each big only logged seven minutes apiece. None of these players can handle rotation minutes as they all have flaws that are easily exploitable so they can all be left on the wire. Gary Clark played 26 minutes and scored eight points with two triples, a steal and a block but is still not a reliable fantasy option.

Nene will start at center on Monday night but is only going to see 18-to-20 minutes, with Marquese Chriss and Isaiah Hartenstein splitting the backup minutes.

This is going to be a very tough spot to mine for fantasy value. Nene might be able to grind out some cheap double-doubles but if he's playing with that sort of minutes restriction he's not going to be an option outside of very deep leagues. Chriss has the best stat set and is the upside flier of the bunch, though Hartenstein was playing ahead of him earlier in the year. The Rockets should be looking to the trade market with Clint Capela (thumb) set to miss 4-to-6 weeks.

Nene (rest) isn't playing on Sunday but should be available for Monday.

The veteran is getting the day off on the front leg of a back-to-back. His absence won't really affect the fantasy landscape at all, though it would've at least given Mike D'Antoni a body to throw at Nikola Vucevic.

Nene will not play on Wednesday night but will be available on Thursday.

The Rockets won't put the veteran through a full back-to-back. Isaiah Hartenstein is going to back up Clint Capela against the Wizards tonight.

Nene (calf) will make his season debut on Saturday vs. the Bulls.

Aside from bumping rookie Isaiah Hartenstein from the rotation, there’s not a whole lot of fantasy implications here but we’re glad Nene is back.

Nene (calf) is questionable ahead of Friday's game with the Spurs.

Nene had been away from the team to rehab his right calf strain but is nearing a return. When he does play it'll be his season debut, and although none of Houston's current backup center options have impressed there are on guarantees that Nene will be a regular member of the rotation.

Nene (right calf strain) has been away from the team to rehab his calf and hopes to rejoin the team soon.

The Rockets are hurting for depth right now, especially with Carmelo Anthony all but gone. When Nene does return, it's worth monitoring his minutes and production. There is a chance he's a regular rotation player, but his fantasy output may not match his real life role. He can be left on the wire at least until he returns.

Nene has re-aggravated his strained calf and will be re-evaluated in 3-to-4 weeks.

This news has no impact on fantasy leagues, unless you're looking at Marquese Chriss and Isaiah Hartenstein for production in a 30-teamer.

Nene (right calf strain) is out for Wednesday's game.

Nene still has not played this season and recently went for an MRI on his calf, but the results have not been released yet. He can be left on the waiver wire until we hear more about his status.

Nene (calf) is available to play on Sunday night.

He was questionable coming in but probably won't see any action, unless Boban gives Houston's small groups too many problems.

Nene is being listed as questionable for Sunday's game.

Nene was questionable on Saturday but didn't play. Even if he is active he's rarely going to be in the rotation.

Nene is questionable for Saturday's game with a calf injury.

Nene missed the season opener but could return for this contest. Obviously, Clint Capela is the primary center option and unless something happens to him, Nene is a low-upside backup.

Nene (right calf) will not play in Wednesday's season opener but is expected to return soon.

With Nene slotting in as a matchup-dependent backup, there's no need to monitor his status for fantasy.
