Nicolas Claxton has missed the last two Summer League games because of left hamstring tightness.
Claxton hasn't gotten much of a chance to impress at Summer League, and it would've been tough for him to really stand out with Jarrett Allen on the Vegas roster anyway. We'll see how the rookie looks in the preseason, but his fantasy outlook is severely hampered by the presence of Allen and DeAndre Jordan. This doesn't look like a serious injury but we'll keep an eye on things to see if it lingers.

The Nets have signed Nicolas Claxton to a multi-year deal.
Claxton slipped just outside of the first round to 31st overall and the Nets moved quickly to get him under contract. In his second and final season at Georgia, Claxton averaged a team-high 13.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 2.5 blocks per game. He's behind DeAndre Jordan and Jarrett Allen on the depth chart, however, which means that he's not much of a fantasy option for the foreseeable future.

The Nets selected Georgia PF Nicolas Claxton with the 31st pick in the NBA Draft on Thursday.
Claxton fits the mold of switchy forwards that seem to be taking over the NBA. With elite length – over a nine foot standing reach – he's got some promising ball-handling ability and passing creativity. Claxton will need to fill in his frame and refine his jumper but the Nets would love for him to develop into a viable backup for Jarrett Allen.
