Nicolas Claxton posted 15 points and four rebounds in just 18 minutes on Monday.

Credit to Claxton for besting his two-day-old career high in points in just 18 minutes today. The Nets' rookie has an intriguing statistical profile and documented per-minute upside, but the team doesn't yet trust him with a full workload in either frontcourt position. He's also one of the thinnest "big" men in the league, so expect muscle watch season to feature Claxton this offseason. He's a player to add in 16-team leagues whenever the guys ahead of him get hurt, much like the wiry Chris Boucher up in Toronto.

Nicolas Claxton was the beneficiary of both the absence of DeAndre Jordan and some garbage time on Saturday, recording a career-high 14 points on 7-of-12 shooting with six rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 19 minutes.

It was a nice preview of what Claxton can bring to the table. However, as long as DeAndre Jordan is still healthy enough to play for the Nets, Claxton is nothing more than a dynasty-league stash at this stage in his career.

The Nets have recalled rookie big man Nicolas Claxton from their G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, on Sunday.

Claxton has played sparingly this season, and is likely to continue flowing between the G League and the NBA team throughout the year. If the Nets sustained an injury to Jarrett Allen or DeAndre Jordan he could get a chance at rotation minutes, but until then he’s an afterthought in most settings.

The Nets have assigned Nicolas Claxton to their G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, on Friday.

Claxton has averaged 12 minutes per game for the Nets in 10 opportunities so far in his rookie season. It is unlikely that he will have a fantasy impact this season but is a name to watch as he continues to work on his craft and improve.

Nicolas Claxton (left hamstring soreness) is probable for Monday's game.

Claxton doesn't figure to be in the rotation right away since he's missed almost a full month, but the rookie does look like he'll be ready if called upon.

Nicolas Claxton has been ruled out of Thursday's game vs. the Spurs due to a sore left hamstring.

Nicolas Claxton (left hamstring) will not play on Tuesday.

Claxton's absence has opened things up a bit more in the frontcourt, with the ripple effect helping out guys like David Nwaba and recently, Rodions Kurucs. There's not much of interest here.

Nicolas Claxton (left hamstring soreness) will not play on Sunday.

Claxton has been in and out of the rotation and isn't much of a redraft option at this point, though that can change. He'll need to get healthy first, obviously.

Nicolas Claxton (left hamstring soreness) is being listed as out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Hornets.

Claxton is a fun dynasty league guy to own but doesn't have a consistent enough role to be counted upon this season.

Nicolas Claxtont suffered another hamstring injury in Monday’s loss of the Long Island Nets to the Raptors 905.

There is currently no update on the severity of the injury but the rookie was again bothered by his hamstring earlier this season. He had four points, one rebound and one assist in six first quarter minutes of play before leaving the game early.

Nicolas Claxton (sore left hamstring) will be available for Sunday's game.

Claxton was added to the injury report yesterday as questionable. He has been in and out of the rotation this season, and the Heat aren't necessarily a great matchup for him. Claxton's a fun guy to track in dynasty leagues but his redraft appeal is minimal.
