  • Nigel Hayes
    G, Los Angeles Clippers

Nigel Hayes will be spending his Summer League with the Clippers.

Hayes last appeared with the Lakers in 2017-18, though he also had short stints with the Kings and Raptors. He’s coming off a season overseas and has signed with Zalgiris of the EuroLeague, though he’ll exercise his out clause if a path to the NBA opens up.

    F, Sacramento Kings

Nigel Hayes has agreed to a deal with Turkish team Galatasaray.

Hayes had cups of coffee with the Raptors, Kings and Lakers last season and put a solid season together with the Westchester Knicks in the G-League. He'll likely be back on the Summer League circuit next year in hopes of securing an NBA job.

  • Nigel Hayes
    SF/PF, Sacramento Kings

Nigel Hayes was waived by the Kings before his contract was guaranteed in order to have room for the Zach LaVine offer.

Spent most of his time in the G-League last season where he averaged 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.4 triples. He played for three different teams in his rookie season last year, appearing in nine total games and remains on the Kings summer league roster.

  • Nigel Hayes
    SG/SF, Sacramento Kings

Nigel Hayes played 19 minutes on Monday night, scoring seven points while hauling in a career-high nine rebounds to go with a steal and a 3-pointer.

Hayes transformed himself into a sharpshooter in the G-League and could be a player that the Kings look at closely in their finale. Most fantasy owners can do better but he's a worthwhile prospect in the league.

  • Skal Labisierre
    PF/C, Sacramento Kings

Skal Labisierre (sprained ankle) will not play on Friday vs. the Grizzlies.

With Skal out, Willie Cauley-Stein is the biggest beneficiary. The Kings could let Kosta Koufos back into the rotation to soak up the backup center minutes or they could continue to go small and let Nigel Hayes and Bruno Caboclo get more run. Aside from WCS, the rest are risky plays as we have no idea what coach Joerger will do. Garrett Temple (ankle) also remains out.

  • Nigel Hayes
    SG/SF, Sacramento Kings

Nigel Hayes made his Kings debut on Sunday night but shot only 1-for-7 from the floor, finishing with a 3-pointer, three rebounds and a block in 22 minutes.

Hayes has been a sharpshooter at the G-League level and may hold some streaming appeal if you need triples, though there's no guarantee he'll get consistent playing time going forward.

  • Nigel Hayes
    SF/PF, Sacramento Kings

Forwards Nigel Hayes will sign with the Kings for the rest of the season and for 2018-19.

Hayes has bounced around a bit and the Kings decided to give him a shot to see what he can do. He probably won't get enough run to make a difference this season.

  • Nigel Hayes
    SG, Toronto Raptors

Nigel Hayes will not sign with the Raptors after his second 10-day deal expired.

Hayes was a nice theoretical fit given his ability to shoot the three but the Raptors already roll with 10 or 11 men in the rotation so there was just no playing time available. We'll see where he lands next.

  • Nigel Hayes
    PF, Toronto Raptors

Nigel Hayes will sign a second 10-day contract with the Raptors.

Hayes has played an eye-popping six minutes for the Raptors in two games. He has no fantasy relevance unless something earth-shattering happens. It’s not the time to get weird.

  • Nigel Hayes
    SG, Toronto Raptors

Nigel Hayes made his Raptors debut on Sunday, finishing with six points and a pair of triples in only five minutes.

Hayes played in garbage time but got a little revenge over the team who opted not to call him up despite some excellent work in the G-League. Westchester’s loss has been L.A and now Toronto’s gain, as Hayes has played in three NBA games this season with two oddly coming against the Knicks. He won’t be a fantasy option but it is disappointing that the lowly Knicks couldn’t find space for a promising young shooter.

  • Malcolm Miller
    SF, Toronto Raptors

Malcolm Miller will start at small forward for the Raptors on Tuesday night.

Miller started Toronto’s game on Sunday after Norman Powell drew the start against Washington. Neither player really impressed with the role but the duo will take care of the job until OG Anunoby returns. Time could open up for 10-day recipient Nigel Hayes, though he is out tonight (as expected) thanks to visa issues. C.J. Miles will continue to operate in a bench capacity but should see a little extra playing time and is the best fantasy option here.

  • Nigel Hayes
    SF, Toronto Raptors

Coach Dwayne Casey said he doesn’t foresee newly signed (10-day contract) forward Nigel Hayes getting into Tuesday’s tilt vs. the Hawks.

Coach Casey added he hasn’t ruled it out completely, but even if he does play it likely won’t be enough to make an impact. C.J. Miles should see 20-30 of those small forward minutes off the bench as well along with Norman Powell, so Hayes can be ignored for now.

  • Nigel Hayes
    SF, Toronto Raptors

Nigel Hayes has signed a 10-day contract with the Raptors.

Hayes had a cup of coffee with the Lakers earlier in the year but had fans within the Toronto organization after a strong pre-draft workout. He’s shooting 44 percent from deep on 5.6 attempts per game in the G-League and could see some time over the course of this deal as the Raptors have been on the hunt for spacing. DeMar DeRozan joked yesterday that the team could start anybody right now and play well, and the Raps have a rotation going at the small forward spot with the Hawks on tap tomorrow. We’re not saying anything, but there are dots to connect if you’re so inclined.
