  • Emmanuel Mudiay
    PG, Utah Jazz

Emmanuel Mudiay will miss Thursday's game with the Spurs as he deals with a sore left knee.

Mudiay could have seen an increased role on Thursday as Mike Conley (knee) was already ruled out. Nigel Williams-Goss is not on the injury report for the first time in a while and could see his first action since Jan 8.

Emmanuel Mudiay (left hamstring) will not play in Friday's preseason game vs. the Pelicans.

Mudiay is in a competition with Dante Exum who was also ruled out from Friday's matchup. Nigel Williams-Goss and Justin Wright-Foreman should see some minutes in Friday's preseason matchup but neither factor into the fantasy landscape. Monitor Mudiay's status as training camp rolls on.

Williams-Goss was the 55th overall pick of the Jazz in 2017 and makes his way back to the States after playing a year in Serbia, winning the Serbian Cup with MVP honors and then a season in Greece for David Blatt's Olympiacos. The Jazz will pay Olympiacos $1 million to buy Williams-Gross out of his current contract and although he has a strong resume with many college and high-school accolades as well, he a long-shot to get many minutes with Mike Conley, Dante Exum and Emmanuel Mudiay on the roster.
