Nikola Mirotic (right calf strain) has been upgraded to doubtful ahead of Wednesday's game with the Bulls.

Mirotic has been on the shelf for the last six games and has been included in an increasing number of trade rumors lately, so we may have seen the last of him in a Pelicans uniform. No matter where he ends up for the rest of the season, the biggest impediment to early-middle round value for Mirotic is his health. Darius Miller and Kenrich Williams will continue to log big minutes while Mirotic is sidelined.

The Blazers have expressed interest in Nikola Mirotic of the Pelicans, Evan Fournier of the Magic, Jeremy Lin of the Hawks, and JaMychal Green of the Grizzlies, according to sources close to the Sporting News.

Portland has been running their offense through Nurkic even more lately and are looking for shooters who can accentuate that strategy. The hope is that newly-acquired Rodney Hood can chew up minutes at the small forward position, providing decent defense and offering a perimeter threat offensively, but the team is still active in the trade market. How much of a splash the Blazers could make likely will depend on their willingness to include second-year forward Zach Collins in a deal. Portland is also expected to make Moe Harkless available, as well as the team’s first-round pick, in an attempt to find ways to bring in another difference-maker to bolster their playoff odds.

Nikola Mirotic (right calf strain) will miss Monday's game against the Pacers.

All indications are that Mirotic would miss multiple weeks, and he's already missed one. He was slated to be re-evaluated on the weekend but the team hasn't issued any updates. Mirotic is a hold in all leagues and should hold at least middle-round value, even if he's traded.

According to Zach Lowe of ESPN, Nikola Mirotic is someone the Jazz could consider trading for on or before the trade deadline.

The Jazz have their sights set on Mike Conley Jr., but getting a talented scoring forward like Mirotic would also be a big boost for them. Mirotic has thrived in the Pelicans' up-tempo style and will see a dip in production in the Jazz's slower, more deliberate pace. That said, he still should retain a mid-round floor thanks to his ability to chip in across multiple categories

Nikola Mirotic (right calf strain) will be re-evaluated in a week.

Alvin Gentry hinted that Mirotic could be out for "a while" and it sounds like it'll be a 1-to-2 week absence, if not more. Darius Miller and Solomon Hill will pick up the slack at the four spot with Miller's 3-point abilities giving him a shot at specialist value in deeper formats.

Nikola Mirotic (right calf strain) will be re-evaluated in a few days but Alvin Gentry said that Mirotic's absence "could be a while."

No timeline has been set and the re-evaluation date means he's probably out for the rest of this week at minimum. Mirotic missed a chunk of time with a right ankle earlier this season and he heads back to the sidelines not too long after returning. The Pelicans will be tested with Anthony Davis also out, and we should see more of Darius Miller, Solmon Hill and Wesley Johnson while the frontcourt is thinned out. Mirotic's fantasy owners will just have to sit tight and hope that the Pelicans are more forthcoming about the timeline with this than they were with the ankle injury.

Nikola Mirotic (right calf strain) has been ruled out of Thursday's game.

It's a tough break for Mirotic, who was looking at a nice little run with Anthony Davis on the sidelines. Darius Miller should be the next man up for the Pellies and logged 30 minutes on Wednesday, picking up three 3-pointers and a steal. He'll be on the map in deep leagues and is worth picking up if you need triples.

Nikola Mirotic has been diagnosed with a right calf strain and will not return to Wednesday's game vs. the Pistons.

He finishes the night having played 24 minutes, scoring 11 points on 4-of-12 shooting with eight rebounds, an assist and three triples. Hopefully, it's nothing serious and won't be something that will cause him to miss time. That said, Mirotic has been known to be a slow healer, so it's best to check back before the Pelicans' next game for a fresh update on his status.

Nikola Mirotic bumped knees on Wednesday and after getting looked at on the bench eventually headed to the locker room.

The hits just keep coming for the Pelicans, who are already missing Anthony Davis (finger). If Mirotic is unable to return, Darius Miller should soak up the remainder of his fourth-quarter minutes.

Nikola Mirotic heated up for the Pelicans in a convincing 105-85 thrashing of the Grizzlies on Monday, popping off five triples en route to his 21 points (6-of-15 shooting) in 32 minutes off the bench.

Mirotic also added six rebounds, a perfect 4-for-4 outing at the stripe, one assist, one steal and two blocks to round out his line. This is his best game since returning from an ankle injury which kept him sidelined for over a month. He's trending up and with Anthony Davis out 1-2 weeks, Threekola will be an active participant in the Pelicans' offense.

Nikola Mirotic looked like his old self in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors, popping off for 29 points on 9-of-14 from the field to go with five rebounds, three assists, a steal, a block and six 3-pointers in 29 minutes of action.

Mirotic probably had fantasy owners sweating after a 17-minute dud on Monday but everyone should be back on board tonight. The buy-low window is probably closed after this excellent performance so hopefully you were able to get him before this outburst. Mirotic will have a shot at early-round numbers from here on out.

Nikola Mirotic scored zero points on 0-for-3 shooting with two rebounds and an assist on Monday.

So much for that no minutes restriction. Mirotic was off tonight and Julius Randle was on, but there's no need to panic as he should bounce back soon. It didn't help that he had four fouls in 17 minutes of action, but Mirotic was carrying early-round value before going down with an injury and we urge you to exercise patience with him as he gets his game back on track. Now is the time to send some aggressive buy-low offers.
