Omari Spellman started with Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) out on Tuesday and scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, three assists and one block in 22 minutes.

Spellman's conditioning and ability to handle larger minutes is a bigger question than whether or not he will produce when on the floor. He's worth a look in deeper formats in case he can keep his profile up while the team is healthy, but it will be easier said than done.

Omari Spellman started Sunday and racked up 13 points, six rebounds, one assist, four blocks and four 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

Spellman started Sunday due Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) being out as well as the matchup against Brook Lopez, one that Spellman is much more equipped for than Alex Len. Len ended up fouling out in only 17 minutes, which led to Spellman's high minutes. With Dedmon and Len healthy, Spellman will have a hard time playing enough minutes to contribute in fantasy.

Omari Spellman is starting at center vs. the Bucks on Sunday with Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) out.

Spellman is drawing the start over Alex Len in this matchup because he's more equipped to guard Brook Lopez who can stretch the floor with his 3-point shooting. However, Alex Len will still most likely play more minutes as he's the better all around player for the Hawks with Dewayne Dedmon missing this one.

The Hawks have assigned Omari Spellman to the G-League.

This could be one of those situations where Spellman is sent down for a practice and then recalled later in the day. He just returned from a lengthy absence caused by an ankle injury so the Hawks will probably want to get him as much work as possible. It might mean he gets a few games in with Erie. Spellman's a stretch four that only holds appeal in deeper formats, and we expect him to return to the big club relatively quickly.

Omari Spellman logged seven minutes on Wednesday in his first game since December 3.

Spellman finished with five points and a 3-pointer. He's going to be brought back along slowly after a hip injury that basically cost him the month of December, and there's only deep-league appeal since his stretch four stat set doesn't offer a ton of upside.

Omari Spellman (hip) is available for Wednesday's game.

Spellman was originally doubtful for this game before going through 5-on-5 and being upgraded to probable. His stat set is interesting for a young big, but he's mostly a long term option, unless the Hawks have a multitude of injuries.

Omari Spellman (hip) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game.

Spellman was doubtful as of yesterday but was able to go through a 5-on-5 workout today. With Alex Len doubtful, Spellman could be leaned on as a small-ball center tonight, assuming he does indeed play. Deep-league owners can keep an eye out for his shooting touch out of a frontcourt spot, but there's not too much here in the way of fantasy value.

Omari Spellman (hip) is doubtful to play in Wednesday's game against the Pacers.

Spellman has flashed an interesting stat set but he hasn't really climbed up on to the radar and he needs a lot of injuries in front of him to make that happen.

Omari Spellman (hip soreness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game.

Spellman was not expected to play in this one anyways. He was not expected to play on Atlanta's road trip, so a Wednesday return post-Christmas is possible.

Omari Spellman (hip soreness) did some light shooting on Tuesday but is unlikely to play on Atlanta's road trip.

The Hawks have three more games away from home, so we wouldn't expect to see Spellman until next week. He's already missed six games and doesn't need to be owned in the vast majority of fantasy leagues.

Omari Spellman (right hip soreness) will remain out on Tuesday.

Spellman has missed the last six games and the Hawks haven't given any timeline on his potential return. He can be left on the wire in all but the deepest of leagues.

Omari Spellman (right hip soreness) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game.

Spellman has missed the last five games and there's no sense of when exactly he'll return, though he was at least able to travel with the team lately. He's only in option in dynasty formats right now.

Omari Spellman (right hip soreness) is out for Friday's game.

This will be four straight missed games for Spellman and we have not heard anything about a timetable for him yet. He's only a very deep league or dynasty hold right now.

The Hawks have ruled Omari Spellman out of Wednesday's game with right hip soreness.

Spellman was a limited participant in Monday's practice and has been ruled out a full day in advance. He's only an asset in extremely deep leagues this season now that the Hawks have their frontcourt healthy.
