After months of speculation, Maccabi Tel Aviv officially signed Omri Casspi to a three-year contract on Tuesday, finalizing his return to the club after 10 seasons in the NBA.

Casspi’s priority was to find an NBA deal after becoming a free agent when the Grizzlies waived him in February, but he wasn’t able to generate much interest around the league. Over his 10-year NBA career, Casspi played for the Kings, the Wolves, the Pelicans, the Rockets, the Cavs, the Grizzlies and the Warriors. The Israeli forward was left off the Warriors’ roster for the 2018 postseason, during which the team won the NBA Finals, but later received a championship ring.

Maccabi Tel Aviv has denied reports that they have already signed Omri Casspi to a deal.

The team has expressed interest in Casspi but the two sides have yet to settle on an agreement. Casspi may still want to linger around and see if there's an NBA team willing to sign him, so that throws a bit of an extra wrinkle to his move back to Europe.

Omri Casspi has agreed to a three-year, $3.4 million deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Casspi was waived by the Grizzlies back in February while he was recovering from surgery to repair a torn right meniscus. Injuries really derailed his career over his last few NBA seasons, but Casspi has found a perfect landing spot — he'll be team captain and move into a management role upon retirement. It's safe to say that his NBA days are done.

The Grizzlies will release Omri Casspi to cut their roster down to 15 players.

The Grizzlies were over the roster limit after the trade deadline and needed to cut someone. Casspi (right meniscus tear) was not a guarantee to return this season anyways.

Omri Casspi (right meniscus tear) will undergo surgery next week when a timeline for his recovery will be issued.

The hits just keep coming for the Grizzlies. Despite the lack of a timetable, Casspi will likely miss the remainder of the fantasy season as a six-week timetable is typical for such an injury. We hope he has a full recovery.

Omri Casspi (right knee soreness) has been ruled out of Friday's game.

It'll be his fourth straight game on the sidelines. With Casspi out it's been a lot of Justin Holiday and Bruno Caboclo and that should be the case again tomorrow.

Omri Casspi (right knee soreness) will miss his third straight game on Wednesday in the Grizzlies' matchup against the Timberwolves.

Casspi won't see as many minutes moving forward with Kyle Anderson returning on Monday. There are better options out there.

Omri Casspi will miss his second consecutive game on Monday because of right knee soreness.

Casspi had flashed in a few big scoring games over the last couple of weeks but was already looking like a drop in fantasy with Kyle Anderson back and Justin Holiday finding some rhythm. His injury only makes the call easier.

Omri Casspi (right knee soreness) won't play in Saturday's game.

Casspi injured this knee back in November and missed five games, so he could be looking at a similar situation. With Garrett Temple also out, Jevon Carter will start at the two while Justin Holiday will be in for heavy minutes again.

Omri Casspi (right knee soreness) is doubtful to play against Pacers on Saturday.

Casspi missed five games in November with knee soreness so he might miss a couple games here as well. With Garrett Temple also ruled out on Saturday, Justin Holiday could be looking at big minutes.

Omri Casspi played out a revenge game against his former team on Friday, blowing up for 18 points (8-of-11 shooting) against the Kings with five rebounds and four steals in 25 minutes off the bench.

This is an outlying game coming from Casspi, who has not been standard-league relevant all season. He's a marginal add in deeper leagues and it would be prudent to wait for him to string together a few more gems before rushing to the wires to add him.

Omri Casspi (illness) will not play on Monday.

It would've been nice for the Grizzlies to announce this before tip-off, but Casspi's availability shouldn't be affecting you in too many leagues anyway.

Omri Casspi came off the bench for 36 minutes on Wednesday night, dropping 17 points, six rebounds, two assists and a 3-pointer in the process.

Casspi also went 7-of-13 from the field and took full advantage of Justin Holiday sitting early despite drawing the start. It's hard to chase this game but with all of Memphis' injuries on the wing you at least know that Casspi will be one of the first men up. Deep-leaguers, you can take a flier if you're feeling frisky. Just don't get attached.

Omri Casspi (illness) is available to play Wednesday vs. the Cavaliers.

This is good news for the Grizzlies but fairly irrelevant for fantasy.
