Patty Mills

  • Patty Mills
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Patty Mills shot 6-for-10 (all 3-point attempts) on Monday, helping the Spurs to down the Bucks with 21 points in 23 minutes.

Mills, one of the best boom-or-bust threes-and-points streamers in fantasy, used the attention his performance drew to bring attention to the Australian fire crisis. Here's hoping it helps in some way.

  • Derrick White
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Getting the starting nod, Derrick White scores nine points in Saturday's loss to Bucks, chipping in four rebounds, two assists and a steal.

Filling in for teammate Dejounte Murray, White got the start and played 24 minutes in this one, ceding playing time to Patty Mills and Bryn Forbes. The backcourt situation is a big mess and owners are best set to leave any San Antonio guard not named DeMar DeRozan on the waiver wire.

  • Dejounte Murray
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Dejounte Murray (personal) will miss Saturday's game vs. the Bucks.

With Murray out, we should expect Derrick White to slide into the starting lineup. The rotation has been beginning to work out nicely for everyone involved. As this is just a personal absence we should expect Murray's return to happen in short order for the Spurs. Patty Mills will also see a boost with Murray out.

    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Patty Mills had a big game with 18 points on 6-of-14 shooting, four rebounds, four assists, a steal and five triples in 33 minutes in an overtime victory on Tuesday.

Mills might be the best 3-point streamer in the league this season. He's definitely boom or bust, but if you need a bunch of threes quick, note that he's now hit five or more five times this season. Right behind him is Bryn Forbes, who hit four triples tonight as part of a 14-point, three-rebound, one-assist performance.

  • Patty Mills
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Patty Mills spurred the Spurs to a victory over the Nets on Thursday with 27 points and seven 3-pointers.

Mills is an underrated and consistent source of 3-pointers for fantasy owners. Outside of Dejounte Murray, Mills is the guard to own for the Spurs ahead of Bryn Forbes (six points) and Derrick White. White had a solid game in 21 minutes, with 13 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals.

  • Patty Mills
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Patty Mills was the hero for the Spurs on Saturday, splashing down with six 3s en route to a game-high 26 points with on 10-of-23 shooting in 32 minutes.

Mills also added five boards, one assist and two steals as well as the game-winning bucket to cap off an impressive performance. His hot hand more than overshadowed starter Bryn Forbes, who laid a goose egg on 0-for-8 shooting with three rebounds and two assists in 16 minutes.

  • Dejounte Murray
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Gregg Popovich implied that Dejounte Murray is no longer on a minutes restriction.

This isn't too surprising after Murray played 32 minutes on Friday, but it's welcome news for his owners. Derrick White and Patty Mills are still in the mix at point guard, but Murray is showing positive signs recently.

  • Dejounte Murray
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Dejounte Murray appeared to wrestle back the lion's share of minutes on Friday night, picking up 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in 32 minutes.

It appears that way, yes, but Patty Mills was able to get 33 minutes (13 points, five assists, two steals, two threes) thanks to Derrick White going scoreless in 21 minutes despite starting. This situation remains a mess as everyone seems to love dropping a dud as soon as they get some positive momentum. Murray is the one that's worth your patience in standard leagues and should be picked up if he was dropped anywhere.

  • Patty Mills
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Though his status is "available," Patty Mills has appeared on the Spurs' injury report with left foot soreness.

That's an interesting development. Mills may be dealing with a minor injury but he should be fine for his typical production if you need him in a 20-teamer.

  • Derrick White
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Derrick White will start in place of Dejounte Murray during Saturday's game versus the Knicks.

Murray is sitting out of the second half of a back-to-back. White and Patty Mills will be the biggest beneficiaries. White will draw Frank Ntilikina defensively making Mills the better of the two for DFS.

  • Derrick White
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Derrick White (left foot soreness) will miss his second consecutive game Friday against the 76ers.

There were rumors that White was dealing with an injury similar to last year's plantar fascia strain which kept him out for nearly a month. White has been underperforming, but it's solely an effect of Coach Popovich's wonky backcourt rotation and his misguided insistence on not playing him together with Dejounte Murray. Something's got to give in San Antonio with the Spurs sitting a 5-10 and lacking an identity on both sides of the ball. Should the Spurs trade away any major pieces, Derrick White stands as one of the players with the most to gain and, as such, should be on everyone's watch lists, if not rostered in standard leagues. Patty Mills looks in line to make another spot-start and is worth streaming consideration.

    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Derrick White (left foot soreness) is questionable ahead of Friday's game against the Sixers.

White missed Wednesday's game, a game that saw the Spurs extend their losing streak to seven. Coach Gregg Popovich elected to change up his starting lineup to try and inject some scoring from the guard position as he started Patty Mills over Dejounte Murray. It is possible that Popovich continues to roll with a backcourt of Mills and Forbes who are the most consistent outside shooters on their roster outside of specialist Marco Belinelli. If White is healthy, it will be interesting to see how the rotation shakes out against a formidable opponent.

  • Patty Mills
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Patty Mills received his first start of the season on Wednesday night, putting up 16 points, six assists, two steals and four 3-pointers.

Mills made the most of his first start of the season and ended with a respectable stat line. Dejounte Murray only logged 19 minutes coming off the bench but still managed 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting, five boards, two assists and three steals. Murray is still the one you want to roster, but this backcourt is getting murky.

    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Patty Mills will get his first start of the season on Wednesday against the Wizards.

Mills has given the Spurs a much needed scoring option off the bench, averaging 21.1 minutes per game so far this season. The Spurs have lost six straight contests so coach Gregg Popovich is attempting to inject some scoring into the starting lineup.

Derrick White will miss Wednesday's game with left foot soreness.

White has been disappointing recently, averaging just five points over his last four games. Dejounte Murray and Patty Mills are likely to see more time on the court.
