  • Rashad Vaughn
    G, Dallas Mavericks

The Mavs have waived Rashad Vaughn and Donte Ingram.

Dallas signed them both yesterday and will hope that they slip through waivers and head to G-League Frisco.

  • Jalen Jones
    F, Dallas Mavericks

The Mavs have waived Jalen Jones and Codi Miller-McIntyre while signing Donte Ingram and Rashad Vaughn.

There are no fantasy implications here as the Mavs churn through the end of their preseason roster. Vaughn has the most extensive experience of anyone here but will be hard-pressed to factor into the rotation even if he makes the final roster.

  • Rodney Purvis
    PG/SG, Orlando Magic

Rodney Purvis has signed a 10-day contract with the Orlando Magic.

Purvis was one of top scorers in the G-League but will most likely not see any playing time unless Evan Fournier’s knee injury is much worse than originally expected. This move was just to replace Rashad Vaughn who was recently waived. You can ignore Purvis for now.

  • Rashad Vaughn
    SG, Orlando Magic

The Magic have waived Rashad Vaughn, as his knee injury was unlikely to be healed before his 10-day contract expired.

The Magic wouldn’t have been able to get a look at a healthy Vaughn without committing to him for the rest of the season, and they clearly value the flexibility. Rodney Purvis is a likely replacement, as his work with G-League Lakeland makes him a familiar face to the organization. There’s no fantasy fallout here.

  • Rashad Vaughn
    SF, Orlando Magic

Rashad Vaughn has been ruled out of Wednesday’s game against the Lakers.

Vaughn is a relatively insignificant part of the Orlando rotation, so his absence doesn’t change any sort of calculus for fantasy owners.

  • Rashad Vaughn
    SG, Orlando Magic

Reserve guard Rashad Vaughn (sore knee) is listed as questionable for Wednesday’s matchup against the Lakers.

Vaughn is currently on his second 10-day contract with the Magic, but has only played a total of 34 minutes over the last five games combined and logged two DNP’s. He would need an injury or two in the backcourt to be relevant.

  • Rashad Vaughn
    SG, Orlando Magic

Rashad Vaughn will be sidelined on Monday thanks to right knee soreness.

Vaughn doesn’t play a ton anyway but is missing a chance to play his way into Orlando’s short-term future. Leave him on the wire in all formats.

  • Rashad Vaughn
    G/F, Orlando Magic

The Magic have signed Rashad Vaughn to a second 10-day contract.

Vaughn has played a total of 25 minutes across four games since signing with the Magic. He has only accumulated five points, two rebounds and a steal in the span and would need multiple injuries to have a significant role. Vaughn can be left on waivers in all formats.
