Richard Jefferson announced his retirement on Saturday.

Jefferson was hoping to play this season but didn't get many offers on the open market. He also paid tribute to his late father, who was killed in a drive-by shooting. Jefferson had a 17-year career in the league and spent time with the Nets, Bucks, Spurs, Warriors, Jazz, Mavs, Cavs and Nuggets. All the best to Jefferson, one of the game's most engaging personalities, in retirement.
