The Hornets have signed Ray Spalding to a two-way contract on Wednesday.

Spalding was waived by the Rockets after failing to play a minute with the big league club all season. The Hornets waived two-way player, Robert Franks, earlier in the day to make room to sign Spalding to a two-way contract. He doesn't currently hold any fantasy value.

Hornets GM Mitch Kupchak said that Cody Martin, Jalen McDaniels, Robert Franks and Kobi Simmons will play primarily in the G League this season.

No surprise here, as Charlotte has been diligent about making its rookies log time with the Greensboro Swarm in recent seasons. This group is not worth monitoring in fantasy leagues.
