The Nets have recalled Rodions Kurucs from their NBA G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets.

Kurucs has fallen out of the rotation in the last few games and he is not worth holding expect from dynasty leagues.

  • Rodions Kurucs
    PF, Brooklyn Nets

Rodions Kurucs came off the bench on Wednesday to score 12 points with five rebounds in 27 minutes.

It was a 129-88 blowout against the Warriors, so don't read too much into this line from Kurucs. He had five points in three minutes on Monday and can't be trusted even in 30-team leagues.

    PF, Brooklyn Nets

Rodions Kurucs is starting in place of Joe Harris (back) in Saturday's game against the Bucks.

Kurucs saw a few starts while the team was banged up, but has been underwhelming this year. In a difficult matchup, Kurucs isn't a recommended streaming option.

  • Garrett Temple
    SG, Brooklyn Nets

Garrett Temple (right knee contusion) will not play on Wednesday.

Temple missed Tuesday's contest with the same ailment. Rodions Kurucs had nine points and five rebounds during that contest. Temple is really just a deep league player considering his current role.

  • Caris LeVert
    PG-SG, Brooklyn Nets

Caris LeVert finished Friday's win over the Heat with 11 points (4-for-15 shooting), four assists, three rebounds and three triples across 24 minutes.

LeVert's minutes are slowly being ramped up, but Rodions Kurucs got the start again tonight adding in 19 points and four triples. It's only a matter of time before LeVert rejoins the starting unit.

  • Caris LeVert
    PG-SG, Brooklyn Nets

Caris LeVert came off the bench on Tuesday, scoring 20 points (7-of-16 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs) and adding six rebounds, three assists and two triples in 22 minutes as the Nets lost 103-111 to the Thunder in overtime.

LeVert saw his minutes increase by about six in his second game back from injury. The Nets next play on Friday, so hopefully LeVert will be ready to play and possibly rejoin the starting lineup. Rodions Kurucs kept his starting spot warm tonight but had just four points and four rebounds in 19 minutes.

Rodions Kurucs will move into the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Thunder.

Kurucs is getting the call in the starting lineup after doing so a few games back. Kurucs has had a forgettable offseason and sophomore campaign after showing promise in his rookie year, but things may be looking up for the young forward. Keep an eye on this development.

  • Rodions Kurucs
    PF, Brooklyn Nets

Rodions Kurucs moved into the starting lineup on Thursday but shot just 3-for-10 in 18 minutes to post eight points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and a 3-pointer.

That's not bad considering the playing time but it is a bit of a surprise considering how Kurucs had fallen out of the rotation after earning a starting spot in his rookie campaign. The injuries to David Nwaba and Garrett Temple may have given him a new lease on life, and if Kurucs can keep approaching 20 mpg he'll be someone to watch in deeper formats.

  • Garrett Temple
    SG, Brooklyn Nets

Garrett Temple (right knee contusion) will not face the Mavs on Thursday.

Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, Theo Pinson and Rodions Kurucs could all see additional opportunity with Temple ruled out. None of these guys are worth rostering in standard leagues but could be interesting low-cost DFS plays on Thursday's nine-game slate.

  • Garrett Temple
    SG, Brooklyn Nets

Garrett Temple is questionable to face the Mavs on Thursday as he nurses a bruised right knee.

Temple has seen his role increase with the absence of Caris LeVert and Kyrie Irving. The per-game value of around 200 is most likely the fantasy ceiling for Temple. If upside is what is desired, it is best to look elsewhere. If Temple sits out Thursday, there could be more opportunity for Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, Theo Pinson and Rodions Kurucs.

  • Rodions Kurucs
    PF, Brooklyn Nets

Rodions Kurucs emerged from obscurity on Saturday, logging 18 minutes and posting one point, seven rebounds, three assists and a block.

Kurucs hadn't appeared in Brooklyn's previous six games and has even had some G League stints this season. He's down to 9.9 mpg in 10 appearances, but perhaps this means the second-year player, and his sneaky versatile game, is back on the upswing. We'll see how the minutes look in the next one.

  • Rodions Kurucs
    PF, Brooklyn Nets

The Nets have recalled Rodions Kurucs from their G League affiliate.

Kurucs has been shuffling back and forth between the minors and majors this seasons despite the Nets' lack of frontcourt options. He may eventually get into the rotation after being recalled, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. He has an interesting statistical profile for fantasy purposes, but he's running out of time to make good on the opportunity in Brooklyn.

  • Rodions Kurucs
    PF, Brooklyn Nets

Rodions Kurucs has been assigned to the Nets’ G-League affiliate on Sunday.

There were hopes that Kurucs would be able to build upon his solid rookie season heading into this one. However, he has dissapointed many with an offseason arrest and subsequent poor play through the early season. He is not on the fantasy radar, and he has a lot to prove before he returns to play on an NBA team.

  • Rodions Kurucs
    PF, Brooklyn Nets

Rodions Kurucs only played seven minutes on Wednesday night.

Kurucs was thought to be in the mix to start but with Taurean Prince's performance tonight, it doesn't look like a fair fight. The sophomore can be left on waiver wires in all leagues with fewer than 20 teams.

  • Caris LeVert
    PG-SG, Brooklyn Nets

Caris Levert led the Nets over the Lakers on Saturday 91-77, scoring 22 points to go with four rebounds, five assists and three steals in 23 minutes.

Levert was questionable for this game after getting poked in the eye on Thursday but that didn't slow him down as put on a show, shooting 8-of-11 from the field and 3-of-4 from downtown. Taurean Prince added 14 points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal and four triples in 21 minutes off the bench as Rodions Kurucs got the start in this one without much to show on the stat sheet, also playing 21 minutes.
