Sam Dekker is finalizing a deal to sign with Lokomotiv Kuban of Russia.

Dekker, the former first round pick of the Rockets in 2015 spent four seasons in the NBA with four different clubs with career averages of 5.5 points and 3.0 rebounds over 15.5 minutes per game. He is hoping to find a more consistent role overseas but could eventually attempt an NBA comeback as he is still only 25 years old.

Sam Dekker played 31 minutes in Tuesday's season finale as the Wizards lost to the Celtics.

Dekker didn't do much in his 31 minutes, totaling five points, seven boards and an assist. He'll finish on the cusp of top-300 value in 8-cat and top-280 in 9-cat. He was never much of a fantasy asset this season.

Sam Dekker got some extended run in Washington's 114-115 loss against Chicago on Wednesday, finishing with 14 points, two rebounds and a 3-pointer in 31 minutes of action.

Dekker has been regulated to the bench for a while now, but with Jabari Parker (knee) going down, he looks like one of the last men standing in the front court for Washington to close out the year. Despite the minutes, he really didn't do much with this larger role, making him an uninspiring add the rest of the way.

  • Trevor Ariza
    F, Washington Wizards

Trevor Ariza (sore right knee) and Sam Dekker (sore back) will be available to play the Hornets on Friday.

Ariza can be deployed as usual while Dekker can be left on the wire.

Sam Dekker (lower back soreness) is questionable for Friday's tilt with the Hornets.

Dekker was a late scratch on Wednesday but his status doesn't change anything in fantasy circles.

Sam Dekker (back) will not play on Wednesday.

Dekker is on the edges of Washington's rotation so there's no fantasy fallout here.

  • Wesley Johnson
    F/G, Washington Wizards

Wes Johnson played 15 minutes off the bench but didn’t do much, scoring two points to go with a rebounds and a block in Friday’s easy win over the Cavs.

Johnson wouldn’t have gotten to 15 minutes if the game had been closer and aside from temporarily bumping San Dekker from the rotation (DNP-CD), there’s no reason you should be considering him in any format.

Sam Dekker (back spasms) is available to play in Tuesday's game against the Cavs.

Dekker will return from a one-game absence. He's only an option in the deepest of fantasy leagues.

Sam Dekker (back spasms) went through shootaround on Tuesday and is a game-time decision against the Cavs.

Dekker will move back into his reserve power forward role if he can play but is not on the fantasy radar.

Sam Dekker (back spasms) is questionable for Tuesday's game with the Cavs.

Dekker may have to put the revenge game on hold. He's been a fleeting deep-league asset for the shorthanded Wizards but this news really isn't impactful outside the deepest of leagues.

Sam Dekker will not play on Sunday as he's dealing with a back injury.

Word didn't come out until players had already been locked into fantasy lineups. Dekker's offered up occasional deep-league lines in the wake of Washington's injuries but generally isn't a recommended option.

  • Markieff Morris
    F, Washington Wizards

Markieff Morris (upper back, neck stiffness) will not play on Friday vs. the Bulls.

Morris was expected to sit this one out and with Otto Porter (knee) also unavailable, Jeff Green looks to have a busy night while Sam Dekker and Thomas Bryant also get a little more space to operate.

Sam Dekker made the most of Kelly Oubre Jr. getting traded and Markieff Morris being injured by scoring 20 points with five boards, four assists and three steals against the Lakers.

The rotation was slightly off tonight with Trevor Ariza still unavailable to play. Expect Dekker to go back to his emergency depth role shortly.
