Shaquille Harrison

    PG, Chicago Bulls

Shaquille Harrison stuck with the Bulls' starting lineup on Friday and produced a respectable 10 points on 3-of-8 shooting with two rebounds, four dimes and two steals to his name.

Harrison remains a solid short-term hold in the wake of the injuries to Otto Porter Jr. (foot bone bruise) and Chandler Hutchison (shin splints). Be ready to drop Harrison once they get healthy.

  • Chandler Hutchison
    SF, Chicago Bulls

Chandler Hutchison (shin splints) will be absent for the Bulls-Heat clash on Friday and is doubtful to face the Hornets on Saturday.

Get Shaq Harrison in those DFS lineups folks. Hutchison would be getting the lion's share of small forward minutes with Otto Porter out, but for now they should all be heading Harrison's way. Harrison went nuts on Wednesday. Hutchison is traveling with the team to Charlotte but will be doubtful for that game as well.

  • Chandler Hutchison
    SF, Chicago Bulls

Chandler Hutchison (shin splints) has been upgraded to questionable for Friday's game against the Heat.

Hutchison missed the last game and, even when he plays, he really has to strain to produce fantasy value. Shaq Harrison set the fantasy world alight by putting up a double-double with three steals and five assists, instantly becoming one of the most popular adds of the week. However, this is the Chicago Bulls, and once Hutchison is up to speed he should take up most of the small forward minutes vacated by Otto Porter. Shaq has been doing this for years as an elite steals streamer, but he has an expiration date. Hutchison is expired as a fantasy asset any time he steps on a basketball court. Ignore him.

Chandler Hutchison (shin splints) is doubtful to play against the Heat on Friday.

Hutchison was forced to miss Wednesday's game due to the same injury that indicates he will likely miss Friday's contest. Shaquille Harrison started as a result and had a very productive night overall. He is an interesting streaming option for as long as Hutchison and Otto Porter Jr. remain sidelined.

    PG, Chicago Bulls

Shaquille Harrison drew the start for an injured Otto Porter (righ foot bone bruise) and thrived with 15 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, three steals, one trey and one block in 26 minutes on Wednesday.

Porter is out for at least a couple more weeks. Harrison has outplayed Chandler Hutchison with this spot start, making him a speculative add in case Harrison sticks with starting five.

    PG, Chicago Bulls

Shaquille Harrison will replace the injured Chandler Hutchison in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Pistons.

Harrison hasn't made an impact so far this season for the Bulls, averaging 3.4 minutes per game over seven contests. However, he did produce fantasy value worthy of 20-team leagues last season when he saw closer to 20 minutes per-game. It is unlikely that Harrison sees a huge increase in minutes long-term but can be played in DFS lineups with the Bulls' recent injury woes.

Shaquille Harrison (hamstring) is listed as probable to face the Hornets on Wednesday.

Harrison was previously listed as questionable, so this is an upgrade. Nevertheless, he is not in position to receive much playing time to start the season.

Shaquille Harrison (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for Wednesday's game against the Hornets.

This is not a good sign for Harrison's chances of playing in the season opener. Harrison is off the fantasy radar as a deep reserve, even if he suits up.

Shaq Harrison (hamstring) is expected to be available for the season opener on Wednesday.

Harrison practiced in full on both Saturday and Sunday and did not face any setbacks. He will be clawing for minutes and does not warrant a look in anything but deeper leagues.

Shaq Harrison (hamstring) was able to return to a full practice on Saturday.

Harrison battled the injury throughout preseason but he looks to be getting healthy at the right time. Consider him a viable option for steals in deep formats, though he won't play enough to impact standard-sized leagues outside of pure streaming situations.

The Bulls will be without Shaq Harrison and Chandler Hutchison for Thursday's preseason finale as they continue to battle their respective hamstring injuries.

Harrison returned to a full practice on Monday so his continued absence is a bit surprising, but we're expecting him to return for the regular season given that the Bulls haven't reported any setbacks. Hutchison was expected to be out for longer than Harrison and his opening night is in jeopardy, though the team should issue an update in the coming days. Neither player is on the radar in leagues with fewer than 20 teams.

Shaq Harrison was a full participant in practice on Monday after dealing with a hamstring ailment.

Chandler Hutchison remained out with his own hamstring issue. Harrison was moving well and should be fine going forward. He is a good source of steals on a per-minute basis but only received 19.6 minutes per game last season.

Chandler Hutchison (hamstring) and Shaq Harrison (hamstring) will not play on Sunday.

They both have been listed as out on the injury report for Sunday's preseason game vs. the Raptors. This means more playing time for guys like Denzel Valentine and Adam Mokoka to try and secure a role in the rotation.

Chandler Hutchison (hamstring) and Shaq Harrison (hamstring) will not play on Friday.

Hutchison has been able to practice lately and appears closer to a return than Harrison. Both players are competing for time at small forward, with a crowded mix at point guard and power forward squeezing them into tighter roles than they might be capable of. Denzel Valentine should get extra opportunity to put his stamp on a rotation spot tonight, and the Bulls bench is a bit of a mess for deep-league managers. There's value to be had but we'd like to see the healthy rotation before determining who is and isn't worth a shot.

Shaquille Harrison (hamstring) missed another practice on Thursday.

Harrison's hamstring injury seems to be more serious than that of teammate Chandler Hutchison as he was able to participate in portions of practice. Continue to monitor Harrison's status as training camp continues for the next couple of weeks. The Bulls' next game is on Friday so it is unlikely that Harrison will play. With the new additions of Tomas Satoransky and Coby White, Harrison might have trouble finding the court when the regular season arrives.
