Shelvin Mack has reportedly agreed to sign a deal with Olimpia Milano of Italy.

Details of the deal are unknown at this time, but it looks as Mack will try his hand at a more prominent role and more money in Europe. Mack is a solid backup PG, and if the deal has an NBA clause in it, he could resurface for teams at the back end of next season.

Ettore Messina is targeting Shelvin Mack in order to replace Mike James as Olimpia Milano’s new starting point guard.

Mack ended the season with the Hornets but he hasn’t been able to secure a contract with another NBA team so far. He has averaged 6.6 points, 3.1 assists and 2.9 rebounds throughout his NBA career while he is still only 29 years old.

Shelvin Mack didn't play in Wednesday's season finale vs. the Magic.

Mack really didn't spend much time on the Hornets as he only played in four games. Most of his time was spent in Memphis where he played 53 games and started in three of them. Mack really wasn't in the rotation at all in Charlotte and was only on a one-year contract meaning that he'll be a free agent this summer. The Hornets likely won't bring him back and fantasy owners shouldn't worry about drafting him next season.

Shelvin Mack (personal) will not play on Tuesday against the Cavs.

Mack isn't in the rotation at all so there's nothing to take away from this update.

Shelvin Mack played 12 minutes in his Hornets debut Monday vs. the Pacers.

He put up just an assist and a steal in the loss. Tony Parker sat this one out, so don't expect to see much of an increase in playing time going forward. You can leave him alone in standard leagues.

    G, Charlotte Hornets

The Hornets have claimed Shelvin Mack off waivers, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Mack was traded from Memphis to Atlanta and subsequently waived. He'll be the new third string point guard for Charlotte, though he may get more run than most considering how often Tony Parker gets nights off. There's not fantasy impact here.

    G, Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks intend to waive Shelvin Mack, who was acquired for Tyler Dorsey on Thursday.

Mack wasn't needed in Memphis with the acquisition of Delon Wright and Mike Conley sticking around, and the Hawks don't really have a need for a veteran point guard at the moment. He'll look to latch on elsewhere as a depth piece.

    G, Memphis Grizzlies

Shelvin Mack scored three points on 1-of-6 shooting with one assist and one steal in 18 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's win over the Wolves.

It could have been Mike Conley's last game in Memphis but Mack has a late-round projection if he's the last point guard standing after the deadline. Plan accordingly.

    G, Memphis Grizzlies

Shelvin Mack moved back to the bench on Sunday and had a rough go of it against the Knicks, going 1-for-8 from the field and finishing with two points, four assists, two steals and a block in 25 minutes.

Mack at least had a better day than Jevon Carter, who was replaced in the starting lineup by Bruno Cabcolo and had just three rebounds and no other stats in 11 minutes. If you're looking for Mike Conley to get dealt, Mack's the pickup if Memphis doesn't take a point guard back.

    G, Memphis Grizzlies

Shelvin Mack hit 8-of-15 from the field to finish Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies with 19 points, three 3s, nine dimes and two steals.

Mack played 36 minutes in a spot-start for Mike Conley (left knee soreness). Mack had a small stretch of top-120 value to kick off the season and with Conley in trade talks, there’s more than a fair chance Conley will miss games until the February 7 trade deadline. If so, Mack makes for a decent add.

    G, Memphis Grizzlies

Shelvin Mack scored 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting with two threes, three rebounds, five assists and a steal in 26 minutes off the bench on Saturday against the Raptors.

Mack might be useful if the Grizzlies sell off their assets or injuries strike, but he's only for use in very deep formats.

  • Shelvin Mack
    G, Memphis Grizzlies

Shelvin Mack didn't leave the bench in Saturday's loss to the Spurs.

Mack was bumped from the rotation with Jevon Carter getting all the backup minutes. His run of top-150 production feels like a distant memory now.
