    F, Houston Rockets

According to a report from Sportando, Terrence Jones has signed with TNT KaTropa in the Philippines for next season.

Jones played in the G-League and was with the Rockets for a pair of 10-day contracts this season but didn't gain much traction in terms of completing an NBA comeback. Perhaps he'll attract more attention next season.

    F, Houston Rockets

Terrence Jones was recalled, along with Gary Clark, to the Rockets from their G-League affiliate on Thursday.

This is a name that Rockets fans and fantasy players alike can remember. Jones has one minute of NBA action to his name the last two seasons, but once upon a time, he was a nice fantasy asset. That is unlikely to happen again, but it is nice to see Jones back in the NBA, even if it is just briefly.

Terrence Jones signed a 10-day contract with the Rockets on Thursday and was assigned to the G-League.

This is another emergency depth move for the Rockets. There’s probably nothing to see here for fantasy, but Jones at least has some track record as a former first-round pick.

  • Terrence Ross
    SG/SF, Orlando Magic

Magic head coach Frank Vogel said Terrence Ross is probably still weeks away from returning.

“He hasn’t practiced, so he isn’t really that close [to returning],” Vogel said. Ross was close to returning just before the All-Star break, but a setback during a 3-on-3 drill prompted team doctors and officials to slow his rehab. Look for Mario Hezonja and Jonathon Simmons to continue to benefit in the absence of Ross.
