After playing in the Rockets’ first preseason game, Thabo Sefolosha will get a rest day against the Raptors tomorrow.

Sefolosha will provide some insurance depth this season for the Rockets after spending the last couple seasons with the Jazz. He is not in the fantasy radar and shouldn't be drafted in standard leagues.

  • Thabo Sefolosha
    SF, Houston Rockets

The Rockets have signed forward Thabo Sefolosha to a one-year contract.

Sefolosha only played 12 minutes per game last season with the Jazz. However, he should be in the mix for reserve minutes with the Rockets. Aside from steals, he won't be that appealing to fantasy squads.

  • Thabo Sefolosha
    SF, Houston Rockets

Marc Stein is reporting that the Rockets will sign Thabo Sefolosha.

Sefolosha was among the names at a recent mini camp, and he should make for a nice fit as a defensive stopper off the bench. The Rockets have a pretty thin group of reserves so we'd expect Sefolosha to be a regular rotation player, which puts him on the board as a steals specialist in deep leagues.

  • Thabo Sefolosha
    SF, Utah Jazz

Thabo Sefolosha is among the attendees at Rockets minicamp in Las Vegas with a host of other notable free agents this week.

Sefolosha will be joined by the likes of Nick Young, Luc Mbah a Moute, Raymond Felton, Terrence Jones and Corey Brewer. The odds of someone making the Rockets' roster increased with Iman Shumpert declining an offer sheet from the team.

  • Thabo Sefolosha
    SF, Utah Jazz

The Jazz have not ruled out a reunion with Thabo Sefolosha, per Tony Jones of The Athletic.

The Jazz have had a wonderful offseason but could stand to add a defensive stopper to their bench. To this point it's looked like Sefolosha would be headed elsewhere but the Jazz have left the door open for a return. There would be no fantasy impact, but he would improve the outlook on a team that's already looking like an elite defense.

Thabo Sefolosha (left hip soreness) is available for Wednesday's match up vs. the Rockets.

Thabo had a dismal shooting performance in Game 1 as he shot 1-of-6 from the field and 1-of-4 from downtown, and has been unclear if hes was totally healthy in that one. Whatever the case, he's good to go in this one and should see the same amount of touches as he did in the last game.

The Jazz are listing Thabo Sefolosha (left hip soreness) as questionable ahead of Game 2 against the Rockets on Wednesday.

Sefolosha saw 15 minutes in Game 1 as the Rockets blew out the Jazz. Sefolosha has a minor role on the team and his absence will only open up a few available minutes off the bench.

  • Thabo Sefolosha
    F, Utah Jazz

Thabo Sefolosha logged 27 minutes in Wednesday's 137-143 overtime loss to the Clippers, posting seven points on 3-of-8 shooting with six boards, three dimes, one triple and two steals.

The 34-year-old defensive stopper logged a total of 50 games for the Jazz in 2018-19, limited mostly by nagging hamstring tightness for most of the season. Those games he did play, Sefolosha was able post 320/300 8/9-cat per-game value, for marginal at best deep-league value. It remains to be seen if Thabo will give it another go in 2019-20 but he's no longer on fantasy radars given his recent production over the past couple of seasons.

Thabo Sefolosha is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Suns.

Derrick Favors (back) and Jae Crowder (right quad contusion) are out for this one, leaving Utah with few options at the forward spot. Thabo and Royce O'Neale both figure to see a lot of run in this game.

Thabo Sefolosha (right hamstring tightness) will be available on Monday against the Wizards.

Sefolosha was ruled out for this one yesterday but is apparently feeling better. Deep-league owners can consider him a low-end asset for steals, but we're talking 24 teams and up.

Thabo Sefolosha (right hamstring soreness) is now questionable for Monday's game after initially being listed as out.

Sefolosha gives the Jazz a quality defender as a bench option but he doesn't do much for fantasy owners. His return would likely siphon a couple minutes away from Royce O'Neale and Georges Niang, but not enough to capture your attention.

Thabo Sefoloasha (right hamstring soreness) will miss Monday's game with the Wizards.

Sefolosha isn't a lock to be in the rotation even when he's healthy, but this makes the decision easy for deep-league managers who are hunting for steals.

Thabo Sefolosha (right hamstring soreness) will not play on Saturday.

Sefolosha gives the Jazz another defensive weapon, but his small role means he's well off the fantasy radar.
