Chandler Hutchison has been ruled out of Wednesday's game against the Pistons with shin soreness.
Jim Boylen hasn't yet named his replacement in the lineup. However, Thaddeus Young should receive a short-term boost in value.

Chandler Hutchison scored 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting, adding four rebounds, two steals and two blocks in Saturday's loss to the Rockets.
Hutchison got the start for the Bulls with teammate Otto Porter Jr. out with a foot sprain. He ended up getting the start and played 23 minutes as a small forward. Though teammates Thaddeus Young and Luke Kornet ate into his minutes the start is a positive indication of his value to the Bulls. Even after tonight's effort he is better left on the waiver wire.

Thaddeus Young was effective in Sunday's matchup with his old team, posting 12 points, three rebounds and three steals in 26 minutes off the bench.
Young has predictably taken a tumble down the rankings given his bench role in Chicago, but he's still a borderline top-125 player and should be rostered in most 12-team leagues. The Thaditude Era is over but he can still chip in some steals and efficient scoring, which has its value.

Thaddeus Young came off the bench for 15 points (6-for-12 FGs, 1-for-2 FTs), four boards, two treys and a block in 22 minutes vs. the Knicks on Monday.
The Knicks made a big comeback that began around the time that Young sat down late in the fourth. He's been too inconsistent to trust in standard leagues to this point, but it's possible that he starts seeing more minutes if Otto Porter's struggles continue.

Thaddeus Young came off the bench for two points, seven rebounds, three assists and four turnovers against the Raptors on Sunday.
It is discouraging to see Thad only take two shots in 20 minutes of action, and the Bulls will have a lot of mouths to feed that are probably ahead of him in the pecking order. Nonetheless, he is always a great source of steals in fantasy, and even if his minutes dip from the 30-plus he received as a Pacer, he could produce late-round value.

The Bulls will rest Zach LaVine, Lauri Markkanen, Otto Porter Jr., Thaddeus Young and Tomas Satoransky in Friday's matchup vs. the Pacers.
The Bulls are basically resting their entire starting lineup here. There's no need to play these guys too much in the preseason and they should be fresh and ready when the regular season starts in two weeks.

Otto Porter Jr. and Thaddeus Young (rest) sat out of Thursday's practice.
There is absolutely no concern here as the rest day is solely precautionary. Teams are starting to be much more willing to rest completely healthy veterans as they want to make sure that they are healthy for the duration of the season. Expect both Porter Jr. and Young to be back at practice tomorrow.

Thaddeus Young will not be joining the rest of USA Basketball as they head to Los Angeles this week.
Young was a late addition to the training camp roster. Given his age, it doesn't come as much of a surprise that he did not make the cut. Young should still flirt with standard-league value in fantasy hoops next season, despite a reduced role on a young Bulls roster.

Thaddeus Young will be added to the Team USA training camp.
Young joins Marcus Smart on Monday as two late additions to the training camp roster after six players withdrew from camp to focus on the upcoming NBA season. Although neither of these two are superstars, both are very solid veterans who can impact the game on both ends of the court. There may be more additions to the training camp roster to come.

Thaddeus Young hopes to bring the same work ethic and professionalism in Chicago as he did for over three seasons with the Pacers.
Young didn’t just help reshape the culture with the Pacers. He played for the Sixers as Sam Hinkie began his controversial rebuild and he arrived in Minnesota as they added young pieces like Zach LaVine and Andrew Wiggins. He started all 309 games he has played in over the previous four seasons but he projects to come off the bench behind Lauri Markkanen at power forward and Wendell Carter Jr. at center. Coach Jim Boylen said over the weekend in Las Vegas that Young never asked about starting during the free-agent recruiting process and we should expect the veteran to take a step back in his fantasy production next year.

The Bulls have announced their signing of Thaddeus Young.
Young is heading to Chicago on a three-year, $41 million deal. He'll have to carve out minutes in a frontcourt rotation that includes Wendell Carter Jr. and Lauri Markkanen, so we'd expect Thad to take a step back in fantasy leagues. His stat set should still sustain standard-league value in mid-twenties minutes, but he will not be the same undervalued middle-round guy anymore.

Thaddeus Young will commit to a three-year, $41 million deal with the Bulls according to Yahoo’s Chris Haynes.
Young’s tenure in Indianapolis will be coming to an end in a surprise pivot to the rebuilding Chicago Bulls. Young’s departure wasn’t surprising given how the Pacers were looking to invest in T.J Warren and Domantas Sabonis instead. What is surprising, however, is the decision to go to a Chicago team that has young talent throughout their frontcourt, all of whom figure to start over Young. As it stands Young will be coming off the bench and figures to take a hit in fantasy value as a result, though you never know how the Bulls will deploy their personnel.

Thad Young is unlikely to return to the Pacers, according to J. Michael of the Indianapolis Star.
Although Young is a major part of Indiana's defense, the Pacers would like a little more offense out of the power forward spot and also need to clear some frontcourt minutes to maximize the development of Myles Turner, Domantas Sabonis, newcomer T.J. Warren and rookie Goga Bitadze. Young will be a great get on the free agent market and doesn't figure to break the bank. His exact outlook will depend on where he ends up, but the stat set should be enough to support middle-round value.

Appearing on ESPN's NBA Mock Draft Special, Adrian Wojnarowski said that the Pacers want to bring back both Bojan Bogdanovic and Thaddeus Young.
Bogdanovic had a career year and he is expected to generate heavy interest in the upcoming free agency. Young on the other side is turning 31 and the Pacers would love to have him back on an affordable deal. Indiana is also looking to upgrade their point guard position so it will be a busy summer for them.
