  • Iman Shumpert
    SG, Brooklyn Nets

Iman Shumpert (left knee soreness) is being listed as doubtful to play against the Hornets on Wednesday.

It is looking likely that Shumpert won't play in this one. Joe Harris, Garrett Temple and Theo Pinson will likely split the majority of Shumpert's 18.8 mpg.

Theo Pinson played 18 minutes on Saturday with Kyrie Irving out, posting 10 points, three assists, a steal and two triples.

Pinson looks like the next man up at point guard but he's only a streaming candidate unless we get word that Irving is set to miss time. Uncle Drew played through the injury against Denver and sat against the lowly Bulls so it doesn't look like a serious issue as of yet.

  • Theo Pinson
    PG, Brooklyn Nets

Michael Scotto of the Athletic is reporting that the Nets and Theo Pinson have agreed to a two-year deal.

After rescinding their qualifying offer to Pinson in order to manufacture some extra cap space, the Nets are bringing back their promising young guard. He isn’t expected to be a fantasy contributor though and will only provide insurance in case injuries hit Brooklyn hard.

    PG, Brooklyn Nets

Theo Pinson (low back tightness) will miss Sunday's Summer League game.

The Nets rescinded their qualifying offer on Pinson last night, so it's been a rough day for him. It's possible he returns to the organization once they make their big free agent signings official, and there's been nothing to suggest that his current injury is all that serious.

    PG, Brooklyn Nets

The Nets have rescinded their qualifying offer for Theo Pinson, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Brooklyn has to do some cap gymnastics to fit all their new players under the cap, but it's possible that they bring Pinson back once all the accounting is complete. Pinson had a strong showing in the G-League last season and has fans in the organization but whether he returns may depend on how interested other teams are.

    PG, Brooklyn Nets

The Nets have extended a qualifying offer to Theo Pinson, making him a restricted free agent.

Pinson went undrafted in 2018 but the Nets signed him on a two-way deal and he quickly made a name for himself in the G-League with 20.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.7 blocks and 3.1 triples on the season. The Nets eventually converted that two-way into a rest of season deal and although he played in only 18 games for them, he made the most of his opportunity and has proven he needs to be on an NBA roster next year.

    G/F, Brooklyn Nets

Theo Pinson got 19 minutes and had four points, four rebounds and two steals in Wednesday's finale vs. the Heat.

Pinson played less than 12 minutes per game over his 18 games with the Nets this season. While his per-36 stats look good, there's no reason to expect that he'll ever see minutes like that.

    G/F, Brooklyn Nets

The Nets have signed Theo Pinson for the rest of the season.

Pinson was on a two-way deal and had some huge games for the Long Island Nets in the G-League playoffs. The Nets aren't exactly hurting for wing depth, but it's a nice reward for the rookie after a strong first showing in professional ball.

The Nets will have Theo Pinson available to go against the Sixers on Thursday.

Pinson has not played in the last four games and doesn't figure to be a part of the rotation unless the game gets out of hand. Ignore him for fantasy purposes.

    G/F, Brooklyn Nets

Theo Pinson led the Nets with 19 points on Friday night, also grabbing eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and three 3-pointers in a 109-99 win over the Knicks.

Pinson played 28 minutes with Spencer Dinwiddie out and D'Angelo Russell and Treveon Graham struggling to get anything going. Tonight's line featured career-bests in points, rebounds, steals, threes, free throws (six) and field goals (11) for the rookie. He's someone to know in 30-team leagues, especially if Dinwiddie goes under the knife for his torn thumb ligaments.

  • Theo Pinson
    G/F, Brooklyn Nets

Theo Pinson scored a career-high nine points in Friday's loss to the Raptors, logging 13 minutes and chipping in a rebound, an assist and a 3-pointer.

Pinson had scored 10 points combined in his first five NBA games, so this one is definitely out of nowhere. He had some nice moments tonight but is well off the fantasy radar.

    G/F, Brooklyn Nets

The Nets have given Theo Pinson a two-way contract.

Right after the draft it was reported that Pinson had agreed to a two-way deal, but that wasn't quite the case. The Nets said back in September that he'd be getting their second two-way deal and now it's officially on the books.

    G, Brooklyn Nets

GM Sean Marks confirmed that the Nets will use their second two-way contract on Theo Pinson.

It was reported that Pinson signed a two-way deal shortly after the draft but that was later walked back, only for the Nets to announce the two-way ahead of camp. It's hard to envision Pinson seeing much time this season given Brooklyn's guard depth.

The Nets have announced the signing of Theo Pinson.

Pinson was reported to have signed a two-way deal with Brooklyn after the draft, but perhaps that report was inaccurate. Still, now that he'll be in camp and the team's interest has at least been speculated for weeks, we'd say he has good odds of eventually getting that two-way.

    SF, Brooklyn Nets

Undrafted rookie SF Theo Pinson scored 16 points on 5-of-8 shooting (including three treys) with five rebounds, two steals and two blocks over 26 minutes in Saturday's Summer League loss to the Thunder.

Pinson's career at North Carolina was beset with foot injuries and if he can stay healthy, it's fair to believe he has a shot at an NBA roster. Seeing him active in the money counting stat department was nice for fantasy owners, as well.
