Thomas Bryant will start in place of Dwight Howard on Tuesday night.

It's Bryant's first career start. He's appeared in six games this year, though only one of those appearances exceeded nine minutes of playing time. Bryant managed six points, two rebounds, three assists and a block in only five minutes on Sunday night so perhaps the Wizards will hope to catch lightning in a bottle. It's a toss-up between Bryant and Ian Mahinmi for however many games Howard is sidelined.

John Wall and Bradley Beal (rest) will not play in the last preseason game vs. the Long-Lions on Friday.

Coach Brooks ran them fairly hard so far this preseason so they’ll get the night off though they still will get a workout in before the game. Brooks will be giving a lot of minutes to guys that haven’t played that much this preseason so that means players like Chasson Randle and Thomas Bryant could be getting extended run.

Thomas Bryant is available to play on Wednesday.

Bryant suffered both knee and ankle injuries on Monday so this is pretty surprising. He has a shot at backup center minutes while Dwight Howard is sidelined, but is a longshot to have any fantasy relevance.

Thomas Bryant is somehow listed as questionable on Wednesday's injury report.

The big man sprained his left ankle and hyperextended his left knee on Monday so we'd be stunned if he played.

Thomas Bryant hyperextended his left knee and sprained his left ankle on Monday night.

Bryant posted six points and seven rebounds in eight minutes before leaving the game. He's not going to be a factor in fantasy this season, though the fact that the two centers ahead of him on the depth chart are injury-prone will give him a non-zero chance.

    C, Washington Wizards

Thomas Bryant continued his impressive play with 22 points (10-of-13 from the field), seven rebounds, three blocks and a steal in Friday's 96-92 loss to the Mavs.

Bryant tweaked his right ankle and briefly left the game but returned with a strong finish. He'll be behind Dwight Howard and possibly Ian Mahinmi once the season starts.

Thomas Bryant hurt his right ankle and went to the locker room on Friday.

Luckily for Bryant, it was not the same ankle he hurt in Los Angeles before getting cut by the Lakers. He had been playing pretty well for the Wizards in Summer League averaging 12.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in his previous two games. It wasn't too bad as Bryant has since returned to the game.

Thomas Bryant double-doubled on Monday against the Sixers with 16 points and 12 boards to go with two blocks.

Bryant shot 5-for-11 from the field and missed all of his 3-point attempts. The Wizards lost Marcin Gortat, but Dwight Howard will fill in the gap which means Bryant will have to fight for his spot on a roster again after being cut by the Lakers last season.

Thomas Bryant scored 20 points on 9-of-11 shooting to go along with seven rebounds on Sunday.

Bryant was waived by the Lakers and claimed by the Wizards. He will not play much for the Wizards but could potentially serve as a backup center if he plays above expectations.

  • Thomas Bryant
    C, Los Angeles Lakers

The Wizards have reportedly claimed former Lakers F/C Thomas Bryant off waivers, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

The Wizards are incredibly thin at center so Bryant might be insurance there, or they may have claimed him as a trade chip. Either way, he has no fantasy value at all.

The Lakers waived center Thomas Bryant on Saturday.

Bryant might make it on with a Summer League team but as of now has no real Dynasty value.

Thomas Bryant sprained his left ankle in Friday’s pre-Summer League practice session.

The Lakers open up Summer League on Monday vs. Sacramento and it’s unclear if Bryant will be available for that game. With Lakers’ president Magic Johnson looking to make a splash in free agency, Bryant’s tenure on the Lakers might not last too much longer.
