Ethan Norof and Dan Besbris dig into the mess in Washington and whether anyone behind Brad Beal can actually find consistent fantasy value next year.

Thomas Bryant shot 4-of-11 from the field to finish Saturday's game with 10 points, seven rebounds, one trey, one assist and two blocks in 30 minutes.
Bryant's 3-point shooting is a welcome addition to his arsenal, but it's still a work in progress. He should see some fluctuations in his field goal percentage this season as he balances his inside-outside game.

Thomas Bryant posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds in a 108-100 loss to the Mavs on Wednesday.
Bryant was 4-of-9 from the floor and 6-of-6 from the line in 30 minutes. Bryant should start and play plenty of minutes all season for the Wizards. Bryant looks to be a mid-round fantasy asset and is a double-double threat every night with strong percentages from the field and the line.

Thomas Bryant put up a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in 23 minutes in Fridays 112-93 win over the Sixers.
Bryant shot well from the floor shooting 6-of-9 from the field and 2-of-3 from three. He looks to be the second option behind Bradley Beal and is set to have a career year after averaging 10.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.3 steals, 0.9 blocks and 0.5 threes last season.

Thomas Bryant had a nice performance on Sunday vs. the Bucks, scoring 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting with five rebounds.
Bryant was also 4-of-8 from 3-point range. It is starting to look like Bryant will easily eclipse his average of 0.5 3-pointers from last year. He did this all in 26 minutes of action, and continues to look like a strong mid-round selection.

Thomas Bryant put up a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds in 23 minutes vs. the Knicks on Friday.
Bryant was dreadful from the floor as he shot only 3-of-14 from the field, two of which came from three. He was 2-of-5 from 3-point range. That said, Bryant will look to bounce back in the next preseason game. He is projected to put up mid-round value in standard leagues.

Thomas Bryant posted 14 points (5-for-10 FGs, 4-for-4 FTs), 14 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in a 104-99 loss to the Knicks on Monday.
With the lack of talent on this roster, it certainly looks like Bryant is poised to reach another level this season. With an ADP around 60, he's a great center option once the flashier names go in the top 40.

Wizards C Ian Mahinmi (strained right Achilles) will be treated conservatively and will be re-evaluated in six weeks.
With Mahinmi for at least the first month of the season, there will be extra minutes off the bench for Mo Wagner, while Thomas Bryant will get all that he can handle in the early goings.

Thomas Bryant has officially re-signed with the Wizards.
His deal is believed to be for three years and $25 million. Bryant became a solid, undervalued fantasy contributor last season and figures to have a similar outlook going forward as the Wizards embark on a rebuild. The only potential obstacle is Scott Brooks' allocation of minutes, but the roster isn't exactly brimming with alternatives.

Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Thomas Bryant and the Wizards have agreed on a three-year deal worth $25 million.
Bryant showed flashes of being a solid center for the Wizards last season, so it comes as no surprise that they'd want to keep their young big man in the fold. Bryant's in a good situation in Washington and should be able to take another leap forward in 2019-20.

Thomas Bryant will meet with the Wizards as soon as free agency begins according to Fred Katz on Twitter.
The underlying assumption here is that Bryant is Washington's first priority in free agency, a move that is supported by their recent trend of prioritizing young players since Tommy Shepard took over as GM. Assuming they reach a agreement, Bryant would have a decent shot at being the opening night starting center and would hold mid-round fantasy appeal.

Thomas Bryant has been given a qualifying offer from the Wizards, making him a restricted free agent.
Bryant surprised last season, coming from obscurity to finish with top-125/100 value (8/9-cat). That despite Scott Brooks toying with his minutes. If the Wizards can keep Bryant around last season's workload he'll easily be a steal in fantasy leagues, though we're obviously hoping he takes hold of the starting job.

Thomas Bryant capped off a breakout campaign with 14 points, six boards, two assists and one 3-pointer in 17 minutes of work in a loss to the Celtics on Tuesday.
Bryant will finish the season around top-125 in 8-cat formats and inside the top-100 in 9-cat. He'll also finish as a top-100/80 player in 8/9-cat formats since the calendar flipped to 2019. He seemed to be underrated the entire season and could be a name to look for come draft day next season.

Thomas Bryant scored 17 points (7-of-11 shooting), adding seven rebounds, one steal and two blocks on Sunday night against the Knicks.
Bryant even added a 3-pointer for good measure. Bryant's fantasy-friendly game will be something to monitor come draft season next year, as he has proven to be a per-minute monster when given the opportunity. He has been a top-50 value in 8/9-cat leagues and should have no problem maintaining that pace next year. Bobby Portis double-doubled in only 24 minutes despite going 4-of-14 from the field, scoring 11 points, adding 10 boards and two treys.
Brad Beal was the real deal, but not much else worked out for Washington
