Due to a left knee sprain, Tremont Waters is questionable for Game 3 vs. the Raptors on Saturday.

Waters is not part of the Celtics' rotation in competitive games and based upon the tightly contested result from Game 3, as many minutes as possible will be going to the starting unit as the Celtics attempt to take a 3-1 series lead in Game 4 against the Raptors.

The Celtics will be without Tremont Waters (left knee sprain) and Vincent Poirier (personal) for Game 3 on Thursday.

No big losses here, as neither player is in the rotation. Poirier previously said he'd be leaving the bubble for the birth of his child so perhaps that's what's happening here.

Tremont Waters (left knee sprain) will miss Game 2 on Tuesday.

Waters has not played in any of Boston's playoff games so far and is only emergency guard depth, so there's no fantasy value at stake here.

Tremont Waters (left knee sprain) is listed as out for Thursday's series-opener with the Raptors.

The game may not be played at all, with the players in Wednesday's game deciding to sit out. They're fed up with America's deep-rooted social issues, and rightfully so.

Tremont Waters has cleared concussion protocol and is a full go for Friday's scrimmage.

Waters will not have a role for the Celtics when the games resume later this month. He was the Rookie of the Year for the G League this season, but he remains a nobody for NBA purposes when you're taking part in a resumption-league draft. Kemba Walker will be back and that will put to rest any role for Waters.

According to coach Brad Stevens, Tremont Waters is currently out of commission with a concussion.

Waters is not expected to get a big role when the resumption gets underway, especially with Kemba Walker supposedly feeling much better. Waters can be ignored in all resumption-league drafts.

Rookie Tremont Waters played in just 10 games with the Celtics failing to make much difference, but he was impressive in the G League where he was named the Rookie of the Year for the 2019-20 season.

Waters averaged 18.0 points, 7.3 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 triples and 1.9 steals per game in 36 games with the Maine Red Claws. The Celtics had to sign him to a two-way contract due to roster limitations last year but the rookie has made his case for a more prominent role and he is a name to keep an eye on in dynasty formats.

The Celtics' Tremont Waters has been named the G League Rookie of the Year for the 2019-20 season.

Over 36 games for the Maine Red Claws in the G League, Waters averaged 18 points, 7.3 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 3-pointers and 1.9 steals per game. The 51st selection in the NBA Draft only played 10 games with the Celtics this season, where he struggled mightily (3.3 points, 1.2 assists) while averaging nine minutes per game. He'll be looking to spend more time with the Celtics next season, although it'll be difficult to break out while playing alongside his talented teammates.

Tremont Waters called up for Saturday's game against the Suns.

Waters gets the call-up ahead of Carsen Edwards in this one and might play a few minutes with Jaylen Brown ruled out and Kemba Walker questionable. He has barely played for the Celtics this year but the 2019 second round pick is averaging 20.3 points, 7.6 assists, 2.9 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 3.0 triples in 20 G League games.

Tremont Waters shot 10-for-16 from the field for 24 points with two boards, seven assists, two steals and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes of action in a win over the Cavs on Tuesday.

Waters was hot, combining with Carsen Edwards to account for 54 of the Celtics' 118 points on Tuesday night. He is on a two-way contract after being selected 51st in the NBA Draft. Waters should get ample opportunity in the G-League this season.

Per Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe, the Celtics have agreed to a two-way contract with G Tremont Waters.

The former LSU product was selected by the Celtics with the 51st pick in this year's draft. Waters was a defensive standout in college and will get a chance at regular playing time down in the G-League until the team needs him later in the season.

The Celtics have selected Tremont Waters with the 51st pick in the draft.

Waters was the starting point guard for LSU for two seasons and gets a chance with the Celtics who are thin at the point guard position — or will be after free agency. Waters was All-SEC and SEC ALL-Defense for the 2018-19 season. He was actually the SEC Defensive Player of the Year, so he offers depth at a position of need. He could make the roster, but he will have to prove himself in Summer League.
