Treveon Graham

Fantasy News

  • Treveon Graham
    SG/SF, Charlotte Hornets

Treveon Graham was forced to watch Tuesday's season finale in street clothes as he could not clear the concussion protocol in time to play.

Graham was once again a trusted member of the backcourt reserve unit, logging a few starts and averaging 16.7 minutes per game across 63 contests. He was limited by an early thigh injury and some December back spasms in addition to the concussion that cut his year short. On a total value basis, Graham was a top-310/300 guy but only mustered top-385/370 numbers from a per game perspective.

Treveon Graham (concussion) and Dwayne Bacon (ankle) will not play on Sunday against the Pacers.

Both Graham and Bacon would've been in line for some decent minutes with the Hornets pumping the brakes on their veterans, but are really only streaming options in deep leagues when healthy. It's fair to assume that they're both done for the season.

  • Dwayne Bacon
    SG, Charlotte Hornets

Dwayne Bacon and Treveon Graham have been downgraded to out for Friday's game at Orlando.

This was expected to be announced but now we have confirmation. Malik Monk is a decent option if you need help at the guard spot this late in the season.

  • Dwayne Bacon
    SG, Charlotte Hornets

Dwayne Bacon and Treveon Graham are both listed as questionable for Friday's game.

Bacon has missed the past two contests and earlier in the week Hornets coach Steve Clifford said that both players will not travel with the team on the upcoming road trip. We do not have confirmation on that statement but it seems unlikely that they will play at this time. Malik Monk has benefited greatly with a minutes increase and has produced top-175 value over the past two weeks. You can do worse than Monk in the guard department.

Treveon Graham (concussion) and Dwayne Bacon (ankle) are likely to miss the upcoming road trip according to Steve Clifford.

They have minimal value anyway, but by the time they return it'll likely be too late for them to offer anything worthwhile to your lineup. Leave them on the wire.

  • Nicolas Batum
    SF, Charlotte Hornets

Nicolas Batum (Achilles) has been ruled out of Wednesday’s game against the Nets.

Batum will miss his second consecutive game with Achilles soreness. Jeremy Lamb will be the main beneficiary while Treveon Graham should get some burn off the bench.

  • Jeremy Lamb
    SG/SF, Charlotte Hornets

The Hornets will start Jeremy Lamb in place of the injured Nicolas Batum on Monday night.

This is the configuration Charlotte used with Batum out to begin the year and Lamb is shaping up as a major difference-maker to end the season. He was a top-85 player without Batum previously and needs to be added in all leagues immediately. Lamb should’ve never been dropped considering he’s still around the top-100 on the full season but his lack of name value probably landed him on the wire. Batum’s indefinite absence will also allow Treveon Graham to play a bit more, though that’s not really a fantasy-relevant development.

  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
    SF, Charlotte Hornets

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is questionable against the Sixers on Friday with a sore hamstring.

Kidd-Gilchrist was held out Wednesday with the same injury and hamstring injuries are never clear. Treveon Graham started Wednesday but did nothing worthy of fantasy relevance, while Jeremy Lamb had a down game in Kidd-Gilchrist’s absence. Lamb is still the best option to have of the trio and may see extra opportunities to produce if Kidd-Gilchrist is held out again. MKG was the first option to guard Ben Simmons so if he cannot go then the Hornets will have to make a decision of who will guard Simmons.

    SG/SF, Charlotte Hornets

Treveon Graham will start for the injured Michael Kidd-Gilchrist on Wednesday night.

Graham will be making his second start of the season, and it makes some sense after he played 28 minutes last night with MKG departing after just six minutes of action. Jeremy Lamb was thought to be the other alternative and should see an increase in minutes regardless of where he starts. Graham picked up four steals last night but won’t have much fantasy value outside of that particular category. Lamb should be in standard league lineups, as has been the case all season.

  • Jeremy Lamb
    SG, Charlotte Hornets

Jeremy Lamb started the second half of Tuesday’s win after Michael Kidd-Gilchrist left with an injury, finishing with 15 points, five assists, a triple and a 7-of-9 shooting line in 27 minutes.

It certainly looks like Lamb will be the big winner if MKG has to miss any time, and owners will remember the strong middle-round numbers he posted in his first stint with the starters. He’s been good enough even on the bench to remain owned in standard leagues from wire to wire but his lack of name value probably landed him on plenty of waiver wires. Make sure he’s not available, and if he is you know what to do. His shift to small forward also opened up a little more time for Treveon Graham, who answered with seven points, two triples and four steals in 28 minutes. He’s in the deep league conversation.
