  • Carmelo Anthony
    PF, Portland Trail Blazers

Carmelo Anthony (personal) will be out for Friday's game against the Lakers.

Anthony will sit this game against the Lakers out, which should give Trevor Ariza a good shot at being a daily fantasy play.

  • Carmelo Anthony
    PF, Portland Trail Blazers

Carmelo Anthony (personal) did not travel with the team to Los Angeles but his status for Friday's game vs. the Lakers is still unclear.

Anthony has had a solid season since joining the Blazers and can help rosters with his rebounding and scoring ability but hasn't scored on good efficiency. Trevor Ariza and Nassir Little will have additional opportunity with Ariza having the better fantasy value if Anthony sits out.

  • Trevor Ariza
    SF, Portland Trail Blazers

Trevor Ariza finished Wednesday's contest with 21 points (9-14 FG, 3-6 3PT), four rebounds, an assist and two steals.

Ariza shot the ball pretty well and had another game reaching the 20-point water mark. He's not a bad option for teams that need points and have some FG% points to spare.

  • Trevor Ariza
    SF, Portland Trail Blazers

Trevor Ariza started on Thursday and scored 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting to go with seven boards, two dimes, two steals and four triples.

Ariza did a great job on offense in his start and the Blazers have no real reason to not play him big minutes as they don't have many reliable options. His defensive abilities are still limited, but it might be worth it to scoop up Ariza just to see where this thing goes as the Blazers have revived a few fantasy careers this year already.

  • Trevor Ariza
    SF, Portland Trail Blazers

Trevor Ariza is expected to serve as the Blazers' regular starter at small forward according to Terry Stotts.

Ariza, as expected, will fill in the void left by Kent Bazemore and his fantasy value looks to be on the rise as the minutes will be there. This looks to be a situation similar to when the Blazers signed Carmelo Anthony earlier this season. Both veterans have their flaws but the Blazers have to use them cause they run out of healthy bodies. You can feel free to add Ariza but his percentages are likely to hurt your team.

  • Bogdan Bogdanovic
    SG, Sacramento Kings

Bogdan Bogdanovic (right ankle soreness) will not play on Wednesday.

He was already listed as doubtful, so this news confirms his absence. Trevor Ariza should have a chance to make more contributions. Meanwhile, Bogdanovic has been out since January 2.

  • Harry Giles III
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Harry Giles disappointed in a chance to show his skills as a starter, notching only 10 points (4-for-8 shooting) and five rebounds.

Giles only logged 15 minutes despite drawing the start so that also limited him a good deal. Trevor Ariza played 32 minutes off the bench and had 11 points, nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and two triples.

  • Bogdan Bogdanovic
    SG, Sacramento Kings

Bogdan Bogdanovic is out on Friday against the Bucks with right ankle soreness.

Bogdanovic missed Thursday's practice and has been deemed unfit for Friday's game. It has now been eight days since he suffered the injury and we're not quite sure when he will be back, but until then Trevor Ariza continues to be a nice low-end streamer.

  • Harrison Barnes
    SF, Sacramento Kings

Harrison Barnes scored 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting to go with four rebounds, two assists, a steal and three 3-pointers on Monday.

Barnes logged 33 minutes of action and could see an uptick in usage with Richaun Holmes dealing with a shoulder injury. Any gains would be marginal though, as no one on the Kings can replicate what Holmes does. Trevor Ariza (32 minutes, 18 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and four triples) got hot this game, but we're still not going to trust him to do this on a regular basis.

  • Trevor Ariza
    SF, Sacramento Kings

Trevor Ariza (illness) did not play due to coach's decision on Saturday against the Suns.

We're calling it both illness and DNP-CD because we're not quite sure which it was. Regardless, Ariza's minutes are a source of controversy in Sacramento because he's not really earning them and the team is struggling.

  • Bogdan Bogdanovic
    SG, Sacramento Kings

Bogdan Bogdanovic (sore right ankle) gets a questionable tag going into Saturday's matchup against the Grizzlies.

Bogdanovic missed Friday's game against the Pacers in which Kings lost for the third time in four games. Yogi Ferrell and Justin James split his minutes in that one with 22 and 24, respectively, with James posting the better line of 14 points, three rebounds, three triples and one block. Trevor Ariza also missed the game due to personal reasons but was not listed on the injury report for Saturday. He may also be in line for some extra minutes if Bogdan cannot go.

  • Trevor Ariza
    SF, Sacramento Kings

Trevor Ariza (personal) will not play on Friday night.

Ariza's absence was made public after lineup lock, but it shouldn't affect many fantasy players. Expect the Kings to spread his 22.7 mpg around a few players tonight.

  • Trevor Ariza
    SF, Sacramento Kings

Trevor Ariza put up nine points, three 3-pointers and two steals in 29 minutes on Friday night.

After missing six games for personal reasons, Ariza has now logged 12, 35 and 29 minutes since. He's got a long way to go to get back on the standard-league radar but getting minutes like this are the first step.

  • Bogdan Bogdanovic
    SG, Sacramento Kings

Bogdan Bogdanovic is questionable for Friday's contest due to a right knee contusion.

Bogdanovic missed the game on Wednesday and Cory Joseph didn't really do a ton in his stead. With Joseph also banged up, we might see more Yogi Ferrell and Trevor Ariza if Bogey and Joseph are out or limited.

  • Trevor Ariza
    SF, Sacramento Kings

Trevor Ariza logged a whopping 35 minutes off the bench on Wednesday, providing the Kings with 11 points (4-of-10 shooting), six rebounds, one assist, two 3s, one steal and two blocks.

Ariza has been deathly quiet prior to this vintage line, so be prudent and give it another game or two to make sure it's not just an outlier performance.
