Time for another spin through musical history

Troy Daniels scored 15 points with four 3-pointers, four rebounds and a steal in Friday's loss to the Pelicans.
Daniels logged another 17 minutes in this one and was once again surprisingly efficient going 5-for-9 from the field and 4-for-6 from downtown. He has made a name for himself as a theoretical scorer, but he's put together a few good games now. He doesn't hold any fantasy value though, as he's unlikely to get more than minutes in the teens if that.

Troy Daniels returned to the rotation on Wednesday night with six points, two triples and three steals in 15 minutes.
The Suns were down big and their bench group got some extra run as they slowly chipped away at the lead to make this one look competitive. Daniels is a 3-point streamer for deep leagues but has only appeared in four of the last 10 games. You can do better.

Troy Daniels suffered a shot to the face for the second straight game on Tuesday against the Spurs and did not return after 17 minutes of action.
Daniels' absence would clear up some minutes and take a mini-chucker off the floor but beyond that there isn't much fantasy impact here.

Troy Daniels scored 18 points on 6-of-13 shooting with four rebounds and six triples on Friday.
Daniels has been scorching from deep and is one of the top 3-point streamers on the wire right now. He does little else and when Devin Booker returns he'll vanish, but for the next week or so he has value. De'Anthony Melton had 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting with three triples, three boards, four assists and a steal and looks like the better play than Elie Okobo who had four points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Devin Booker (hamstring) will not play on Friday vs. the Heat.
Booker wasn’t expected to play so this is just confirmation. If T.J. Warren (ankle) and Trevor Ariza (knee) also aren’t able to go, Josh Jackson will get lots of touches with Mikal Bridges and Troy Daniels getting a few extra shots as well.

Troy Daniels scored 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting with two triples, three rebounds and an assist on Thursday.
Daniels was the best option out of the three guards tonight as Elie Okobo (11 points, five rebounds, an assist, a triple, a steal and a block) and De'Anthony Melton (seven points, 3-of-12 shooting, five rebounds, four assists and two steals) didn't do much until the game was well out of hand. Daniels was the only player who accumulated any stats in non garbage time but is a 3-point specialist streamer at best.

Troy Daniels scored 13 points off the bench in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Kings, hitting 4-of-9 shots (all threes) with two rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 21 minutes.
Daniels has no real fantasy value when things are going well and this was blowout territory. Watch this action from the wire.

Troy Daniels is one of the Suns' three inactives on Monday night.
It's a surprise after Igor Kokoskov said that Daniels would be available and he went through some pregame work, but this seems like it might be a healthy scratch. His utility in fantasy is limited to the deepest of leagues.

Troy Daniels will be active for Monday's game.
Daniels will be looking to make his season debut after missing the first few games with a concussion. He's only a 3-point threat in deep leagues but might get into it tonight if the Warriors run away with it.

Troy Daniels (concussion) is listed as available for Monday.
Daniels may be ready to make his season debut, but we have seen a lot of available players not get in the game. Even if he does play, he is just a shooter at the end of the bench and will not hold value unless an injury to a starter occurs.

Troy Daniels (concussion protocol) is questionable to play on Monday.
Daniels has yet to play this season but will be able to hold 3-point specialist appeal in deep leagues once he returns, though Phoenix's depth does make that a riskier bet than it was last year.

Troy Daniels still hasn't passed the NBA concussion protocol and will not play on Saturday against the Nuggets.
With Phoenix being so deep on the wings this season, Daniels was only going to be a heat-check guy at the end of the bench. Barring an injury to a major rotation player, Daniels won't make a notable fantasy impact this season.

Troy Daniels, initially listed as questionable, will not play in Tuesday's season finale.
An ankle sprain will cut Daniels' season short. He'll finish as a top-280 per-game option, but that's not quite fair to him — he ranked in the league's top-30 in triples with 2.3 per game. A pure specialist, Daniels flirted with standard league value when the Suns were racked with injuries but always satisfied owners' needs with his deep shooting. His 79 games put him into the top-220 on the full season but he's one of those players whose appeal is entirely dictated by your needs.

Troy Daniels tried to gut it out on Sunday against the Warriors but has unable to play through two sprained ankles after Klay Thompson dropped 22 points on him in the first quarter.
Daniels will end the night with 14 minutes played and three points. The Suns only had nine players available tonight so hopefully you didn't roll out Daniels in any DFS lineups expecting a big night.
