Darren Collison (sore groin) will not play on Friday vs. the Celtics while Wes Matthews (right hamstring strain) will be available to play.
Cory Joseph is looking at a start with Collison out but he’s not the best option considering the Celtics remain one of the best NBA defenses.

March 6, 2018, 12:47 pmWes MatthewsSG/SF, Dallas Mavericks
Coach Rick Carlise told the media that Wes Matthews (left hip) will not play Tuesday against the Nuggets.
Matthews is in a bit of a slump right now shooting just 26 percent over his last two games. The injury is the likely culprit and hopefully a day off can get him back on track. In his stead Doug McDermott should see a big boost and could start. Mavs could also bump Harrison Barnes to the three and start Dwight Powell at the four.
