Wilson Chandler

Fantasy News

  • Wilson Chandler
    F, Brooklyn Nets

Wilson Chandler was effective off the bench on Thursday, with 12 points and eight boards in 33 minutes as the Nets let the game slip away in overtime 112-104.

Chandler was good enough given what we expect from him, knocking down three triples for good measure. He was better on both ends of the floor, taking over for an ineffective Taurean Prince in the closing stages. Prince was limited to seven points in 23 minutes. At this point, neither player is a compelling option in standard leagues.

  • Caris LeVert
    PG-SG, Brooklyn Nets

Caris LeVert had a nice outing on Thursday night in his 23 minutes, scoring 16 points to accompany four rebounds and a couple 3-pointers.

LeVert was decent but hasn't really been the exciting guy many people waited on hoping for a top-75 player. The issue is that the Nets have a number of wings playing similar minutes, like Wilson Chandler. Chandler played 22 minutes and scored 15 points with four triples.

Wilson Chandler (left hamstring tightness) is being listed as out for Tuesday's matchup with the Jazz.

Despite seeing decent run at 20.4 minutes per game since returning from suspension, Chandler hasn't done much in the box score. He can be left on the waiver wire on standard leagues with some streamer appeal in deeper leagues.

Wilson Chandler (left hamstring tightness) is being listed as questionable to playa against the Jazz on Tuesday.

Chandler is averaging 20.4 minutes per game since returning from suspension, but he isn't offering much with value outside of the top-200 in both 9 and 8 cat leagues over the past month.

Wilson Chandler (left hamstring tightness) is being listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Hawks.

Chandler missed Friday's game versus the Heat and if he's forced to miss there wouldn't be a direct beneficiary of minutes with Kyrie Irving expected to return.

Wilson Chandler (left hamstring tightness) will miss Friday's matchup with the Heat.

Chandler is a deep league play at this point when he is healthy. He looks stable at 20 minutes per game for the Nets, but Chandler's usual offensive role is too limited to expect anything substantial.

Wilson Chandler is questionable ahead of Friday's matchup vs. the Heat as he deals with some tightness in his left hamstring.

Chandler has been seeing 20.5 minutes per game since returning from suspension. It is unclear how the rotation will shake out as the Nets get some injured players back. Chandler will likely not make an impact in standard leagues but could be looked at as at least a streamer in deeper leagues.

  • Wilson Chandler
    F, Brooklyn Nets

Wilson Chandler scored nine points on 3-of-10 shooting with nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and a 3-pointer on Monday.

Chandler's line was one of the better ones on the Nets team which tells you a lot about how tonight went down. He's getting some more run with David Nwaba (Achilles) out for the rest of the season, but isn't worth owning in standard leagues.

  • David Nwaba
    SF, Brooklyn Nets

David Nwaba had successful surgery on his torn Achilles on Friday.

Nwaba had been playing well for the Nets lately but will be out for the season after this injury and can be dropped in all leagues. Wilson Chandler, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Theo Pinson could see more minutes with Nwaba out, but all three players can be left on the wire until further notice.

  • David Nwaba
    SF, Brooklyn Nets

David Nwaba suffered a torn Achilles tendon in the loss to the Spurs on Thursday.

Nwaba had four points in 16 minutes and had been good off the bench for this Nets team that is really struggling with depth right now. With his minutes vacated, the Nets will need more from some combination of Wilson Chandler, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Theo Pinson, who have all been playing mid-teens minutes of late.

Wilson Chandler put up two points with seven boards in 19 minutes in his first game back from a 25-game suspension on Sunday.

Chandler shot 1-of-1 from the field and added one steal and one block to the box score. The Nets waived Iman Shumpert to clear room for Chandler's return. If this game is any indicator of the minutes he will receive, he could put up late-round value with his versatile skill set.

  • Iman Shumpert
    SG, Free Agent

The Nets have waived Iman Shumpert on Thursday.

This move comes at a time when Wilson Chandler is expected back from his 25-game suspension. Shumpert is a free agent for now but there is a possibility that he ends up on another team at some point this season. He is off the fantasy radar.

  • Iman Shumpert
    SG, Brooklyn Nets

The Nets are expected to sign free agent Iman Shumpert.

Shumpert is unlikely to have a major role, but it's worth noting that Caris LeVert has been visiting thumb specialists. In any case, the Nets had a roster spot available until mid-December when Wilson Chandler returns from suspension.

  • John Egbunu
    , Brooklyn Nets

John Egbunu will join the Nets for training camp on a non-guaranteed contract.

The Nets have been busy today as they attempting to find replacements for the suspended Wilson Chandler. Egbunu will try and make the Nets final roster but the odds are not in his favor. He is not on the fantasy radar.

Wilson Chandler has been suspended 25 games after testing positive for PED Ipamorelin.

Chandler's suspension eliminates the already-slim chance that he would start for the nets. Taurean Prince and Rodions Kurucs will be the clear timeshare at power forward, and both make for far better fantasy selections than Chandler would've anyway. The Nets have enough depth to handle this news, though they do figure to have Chandler fill a role in the rotation once he's ready to play.
