  • Iman Shumpert
    SG, Free Agent

The Nets have waived Iman Shumpert on Thursday.

This move comes at a time when Wilson Chandler is expected back from his 25-game suspension. Shumpert is a free agent for now but there is a possibility that he ends up on another team at some point this season. He is off the fantasy radar.

The Nets are expected to sign free agent Iman Shumpert.

Shumpert is unlikely to have a major role, but it's worth noting that Caris LeVert has been visiting thumb specialists. In any case, the Nets had a roster spot available until mid-December when Wilson Chandler returns from suspension.

  • John Egbunu
    , Brooklyn Nets

John Egbunu will join the Nets for training camp on a non-guaranteed contract.

The Nets have been busy today as they attempting to find replacements for the suspended Wilson Chandler. Egbunu will try and make the Nets final roster but the odds are not in his favor. He is not on the fantasy radar.

Wilson Chandler has been suspended 25 games after testing positive for PED Ipamorelin.

Chandler's suspension eliminates the already-slim chance that he would start for the nets. Taurean Prince and Rodions Kurucs will be the clear timeshare at power forward, and both make for far better fantasy selections than Chandler would've anyway. The Nets have enough depth to handle this news, though they do figure to have Chandler fill a role in the rotation once he's ready to play.

The Nets have announced the signings of Wilson Chandler and Garrett Temple.

The Nets' transformation comes with a couple veteran players who can chip in off the bench. Chandler will be in the mix for minutes at the forward spots but looked close to the end of the line last season, so perhaps he'll take the role that Rondae Hollis-Jefferson leaves behind and be more of a matchup play. Temple should slot in comfortably on the wing and in the locker room, with 3-and-D skills that give him a chance at a solid role. The two figure to help make up for the minutes that RHJ, DeMarre Carroll and Jared Dudley used to occupy.

Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports is reporting the Nets have reached an agreement in principle for a one-year veteran minimum deal with free agent forward Wilson Chandler.

Chandler will get the opportunity to join the new-look Nets next season while Kevin Durant rehabs. He does have a significant injury history, but the Nets' loaded roster can house the talented defender. Chandler will have no pressure to perform on a prove-it deal for the veteran minimum next season.

Wilson Chandler returned to the Clippers' bench after a brief trip to the locker room on Monday.

It likely was not anything serious and it looks like Chandler is good to go.

Wilson Chandler headed to the locker room during a timeout in Monday's game vs. the Warriors.

Chandler is an injury-prone player and every time he heads to the locker room, it's a cause for concern. Hopefully, it's nothing serious. We'll update you with his status soon.

Wilson Chandler scored two points and grabbed one rebound in 11 minutes during Wednesday's overtime win over the Jazz.

The oft-injured Chandler barely had top-250 9-cat value on the Sixers and fell outside the top-350 since being traded to the Clippers. He was only traded for his expiring contract and while he probably will make a roster next season, the days of him bringing back top-100 value look like a distant memory.

Wilson Chandler started for Danilo Gallinari (sore left ankle) on Sunday and was reasonably productive with 11 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two treys.

He did struggle with his shot, going 4-for-11 from the field. Chandler is a low-end play and has been mostly unreliable this season. It's best to look elsewhere for production down the stretch.

    F, Los Angeles Clippers

Wilson Chandler played 19 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Blazers, scoring six points with five rebounds, two 3-pointers and a steal.

Chandler made his team debut on Monday night with two points in nine minutes, and he figures to move back to the edge of the rotation when Danilo Gallinari gets back in the lineup. Only the deepest of leagues should be watching here.

Wilson Chandler (strained right quad) is available to make his Clippers’ debut on Friday vs. the Thunder.

Don’t look for the oft-injured Chandler to get a run allotment of minutes right out the gate but he could eventually steal a few minutes from JaMychal Green and Sindarius Thornwell.

Wilson Chandler (strained right quad) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder.

Chandler went through a full practice on Wednesday and has already said that he's planning to play on Friday, so things are moving in the right direction. He's not going to be much of a fantasy option but the addition of a capable forward might alter the Clippers rotation, so keep an eye out for that.

Wilson Chandler (quad) was able to make it through a full practice on Wednesday, but his status remains uncertain for Friday's game vs. the Thunder.

It would seem that Chandler has a better chance to return on Friday than teammate Luc Mbah a Moute, after making it through a full practice on Wednesday. We'll have a better idea on Friday if Chandler is ready to make his Clippers debut.
